Questo bellissimo e panoramico lago pubblico di 22 miglia noto per le sue acque limpide e di livello costante presenta lungomare di proprietà privata e case sulla scogliera, numerosi ristoranti sulla riva, ospita i campioni del mondo di wake wakeers Ashley Kidd e Raleigh Hager ea soli 20 minuti di auto dal centro Austin.
Questo ponte ad arco in acciaio costruito nel 1982 è un punto di riferimento iconico di Austin. Spanning la distanza del Lago Austin (1150 m di lunghezza), collega le sezioni Nord e Sud della Capitale del Texas Highway. Il disegno ad arco del ponte è stato creato per evitare di avere colonne di supporto che altrimenti interferirebbero con gli sciatori d'acqua, wake surfer e navigatori sulle 22 miglia d'acqua sottostanti.
Questo club di golf privato si trova sulle rive del lago Austin. È dotato di un impegnativo campo da 18 buche e ospita tornei, tra cui il popolare WGC Dell Match Play. È stato progettato dall'architetto Pete Dye e ospita la leggenda del golf Harvey Penick.
Questo bellissimo parco di 5 acri si trova a quasi 800 piedi sul lago Austin. Le scogliere del Monte Bonnell offrono una vista per non solo vedere il Lago dall'alto, ma le ampie colline che circondano Austin.
Questa villa sul lago in stile italiano costruita nel 1916 era la residenza di Clara Driscoll, una filantropa che contribuì alla preservazione di Alamo. Oggi il sito di 14 acri ospita The Contemporary Austin ed è composto da un parco di sculture all'aperto, il museo d'arte Laguna Gloria e una scuola d'arte.
Questa diga, che prende il nome da un ex sindaco di Austin, iniziò l'attività nel 1940. Fu costruita per il controllo delle inondazioni e la produzione di energia idroelettrica. Sul suo lato a monte è Lake Austin e sul suo lato a valle è Lady Bird Lake. Entrambi i serbatoi sono il risultato della costruzione della diga.
Questa riserva faunistica di 35 acri situata sul lungomare del Lago Austin è un rifugio per specie rare, in via di estinzione o minacciate ed è aperta al pubblico attraverso visite guidate.

A comfortable cruise with captain Ronaldo. We made a stop for the bathroom and grabbed a drink. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful homes. It was a 25 minute uber ride from downtown Austin and I also enjoyed seeing the scenery on the way.

Spencer was an amazing tour guide. He gave us history but he was also personable and relaxed. My only complaint was that it was too short lol. I would've paid for another go around!

What a great excursion. We had never been on the Lake before, and Marco our captain made us feel right at home. Very knowledgeable and conversational guy. By the end of the trip, I could say Marco is the best captain ever! Great guy, returned something to me even after I left the boat. Give this guy a raise!!
