Quando inizieremo il nostro tour da Dubrovnik, guideremo per circa 50 minuti fino a raggiungere la nostra prima fermata e quella sarà la città di Herceg Novi (cirillico: Херцег Нови, pronunciato [xěrtseɡ nôʋiː]) è una città costiera del Montenegro situata all'ingresso occidentale di la baia di Kotor e ai piedi del monte Orjen. È il centro amministrativo del comune di Herceg Novi con circa 33.000 abitanti. Herceg Novi era conosciuta come Castelnuovo ("Nuovo castello" in italiano) tra il 1482 e il 1797, quando faceva parte dell'Impero Ottomano e dell'Albania Veneta della Repubblica di Venezia. Era un vescovado cattolico e rimane una sede titolare latina come Novi. Herceg Novi ha avuto un passato turbolento, nonostante sia uno degli insediamenti più giovani dell'Adriatico. Da Herceg Novi a Risan (montenegrino: Рисан, pronunciato [rîsan]) sono circa 35 minuti di auto. Risan è una città nella baia di Kotor, Montenegro. Trae le sue origini dall'antico insediamento di Rhizon, il più antico insediamento nella baia di Kotor. Ci fermeremo qui per vedere i famosi mosaici romani a Risano. Da Risan a Perast è di circa 5 minuti di auto. Risan (montenegrino: Пераст) è un'antica città nella baia di Kotor in Montenegro. Si trova a pochi chilometri a nord-ovest di Cattaro ed è noto per la sua vicinanza agli isolotti di San Giorgio e Nostra Signora delle Rocce. Perast è il monumento più grande delle Bocche di Cattaro (Montenegro), è tutto in pietra e completamente in pietra. Ha molti palazzi, chiese e case in pietra. Nel XIV secolo c'era un cantiere navale. Si trova in una parte appartata della baia di Kotor. La città ha una popolazione di 13.510 abitanti ed è il centro amministrativo del Comune di Cattaro. Gli ospiti avranno 2 ore di tempo libero per esplorare la città

No maps provided inside wall of old town. Only verbal info provided and driver dropped off passengers at locations. Took trip to island with everything closed. Driver driving too fast and close to other cars. Driver talked several minutes at border checks points on personal matters friends. Countryside is beautiful. Length of time in cities were minimal.

We had a good trip to Montenegro with Darko. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. He told several jokes on route to sightseeing places. Personally, we would have been happier to leave the visit to Budva, as the traffic was solid on the way back due to ongoing roadworks - took 1.5 hrs for a 2 hr stop and apart from the small old town, the rest of the area looks like an ugly building site. The morning sightseeing stops were great, but could be extended with time there and include a cable car ride up the mountain instead of Budva.
That an amazing tour, I supposed to have a tour in spanish, changed last minute and also the itinerary, bud was a great trip in general, especially for the chofer and guide (Andrew), kind and talkative and always open to help us on everything..
My daughter and I had such a wonderful, full day tour to Montenegro which I think was reasonably priced too. Our tour guide Darko I highly recommend as he made the day enjoyable, fun and interesting with his friendly personality, geographical and historical knowledge and professional approach. He was first class driver needed to tackle the busy roads and mountain terrain. What a memorable holiday 😀x

Had a great time! We were picked up from hotel by Andrew (our guide). He was friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. The goal was to visit Perast, Kotor, and Budva. We loved that he got us to the destinations before they got too crowded, had our visit/pictures, etc and off to the next one. We hit all the highlights, had some great recommendations for Krempita dessert in Kotor and coffee in Perast and lunch in Budva. We were back in Dubrovnik before dinner time so we still had time for getting dinner and nighttime stroll in the Old City when we returned!
I had the pleasure of having Andrew as my tour guide, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment the tour began, Andrew impressed us with his deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and passion for the history and culture of the area. He managed to make every stop meaningful, blending fascinating facts with fun anecdotes that brought the place to life.
Andrew was amazing—super friendly, spoke great English, and made the tour really fun and interactive. He kept us engaged the whole time and was always happy to help or answer questions. Highly recommend!
