Absolutely brilliant! Do not eat before you go! We went at 11 am and I couldn’t eat as much of the delicious food we’d cooked as I would have liked because I’d eaten breakfast earlier. Big mistake! Diego our host was wonderful - friendly, informative and helpful. Full of tips and suggestions. There were 10 in the class which was just right. Plenty of sangria, wine and soft drinks too. Great value. We were on a cruise and in port until 10 pm so we had plenty of time to explore Malaga afterwards. Thanks for a great explanation! Sue & Andrew
Really enjoyable class. Diego was informative and entertaining. I would not hesitate to recommend this class
This was a three course hands on cooking class that taught you how paella is really made. Diego was very educational and entertaining. Great experience with plenty to eat and drink. My wife and I met some very nice people also taking the class. Would highly recommend!
Kitchen is well set up. Staff are friendly and entertaining. Great tips on local flavours. Fun time!
There were only 6 people total. Diego did a great job of explaining everything we were making. The soup was delicious, the salad was fun to make and there was someone in our group that did not eat meat so he helped her make a paella without chicken. The sangria was yummy and all recipes emailed to us before we left. Had a great time
This was a very enjoyable learning experience with the chance to prepare and eat several delicious dishes. Diego is a very good teacher. He expanded my knowledge of Spanish cuisine beyond the dishes we created. He made certain that individual needs in the group were catered for which I appreciated. Generally, a very pleasant 3 hours with the chance to learn with fellow participants from several countries.
If you are looking for an immersive dining experience in the heart of Malaga, Lebasi is simply unique. You won’t just eat; you’ll understand the soul of Mediterranean cuisine. From the stoves to the plate, what makes Lebasi "spectacular and unique" is his participatory proposal. Under Laura's guidance, you put on your own paella apron. It’s the perfect plan for groups or couples who want more than just sitting around waiting for the dish. The satisfaction of eating a rice that you have spoiled yourself is priceless. Raw material is the real protagonist, author rice, with the perfect cooking point and flavor absorption. Local product that seem to jump from the market to your paellera. Seasonal vegetables with that intense flavor that only gives the orchard close by. A well-kept, welcoming space with a design that invites you to enjoy. You get cooking tricks you won't find in any book. Because, let's face it, even if you cook it, with those ingredients it's impossible to go wrong. Lebasi Malaga is not a dinner, it is a memory. It is the ideal place to boast culinary gifts (with a little expert help) and enjoy a quality that borders on perfection. and the place is very modern and
The class was enjoyable. Glad we attended! I have not found the recipes they had promised after the class. I am sure it was an oversight on their part or mine. Not sure which.
It was a rainy day and this was the perfect activity. Had a lot of laughs with a great group of people from around the world. Food fabulous and chef super funny. Best of all - no washing up!
Laura gave us a wonderful hands-on walkthrough on how to make proper Spanish Sangria and Paella. The biggest surprise of the day was how much we liked her cold almond-garlic soup. She was engaging, informative and clearly enjoyed her craft! We will definitely book one of her classes again the next time we are in Malaga!
