Il workshop è aperto a tutti e può essere personalizzato in base ai tuoi interessi e alla tua età. Al termine dell’esperienza, vi porterete a casa un souvenir speciale: una maschera veneziana unica, realizzata interamente a mano da voi.

Sofia hosted an absolutely wonderful mask-making activity for our group. We had a mix of ages and abilities, and Sofia was incredibly patient, informative, and encouraging. She walked us through the entire process step-by-step, offering expert guidance whenever we needed it. She provided a fantastic variety of mask styles to choose from, making it easy for everyone to find something they loved. We all walked away with beautiful, unique masks to bring home. This was a highlight of our time in Venice. Bonus: Sofia's shop is beautiful and her own artwork is displayed. I only wish I had felt better and made time to look around and shop her offerings.
The workshop was a true pleasure, the host started with a little history explanation of the different types of masks and the colors, we then continued with choosing a design for our mask and painting them with the guidance of the host. All in all it was a great experience if you want to feel a small part of the venician art.
Very quaint shop, intimate and welcoming. Kids loved the options, not too many to overwhelm, just enough to engage them effectively and get them excited about their creation.
Sofia was an excellent teacher, patient and seen to love what she does, was very attentive and helpful

There were two of us here and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for late guests instead of starting right away. Then it was explained in two sentences what are rather new and more traditional masks. Quick question, who wants what color, which you then had to share on a plate for paper snack sausages. Rs apparently gave only two brush sizes: one for the primer of the mask and a finer one, which unfortunately was not fine enough to paint contours. Often it was necessary to ask for new color, then you just got a pea-sized blob. Then it was also explained to us that the distributed paint dries quickly. For me it was just a complete mess - I would never recommend :(
I’m truly sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Perhaps a private workshop would have been more suitable for you. When it comes to group workshops, it is quite normal that there may be small waiting times, especially if some guests arrive a little late. I always try to be flexible with these situations, just as I hope others would be with me. In this case, I also found myself repeating some explanations in order to allow those who were already present to start the workshop as punctually as possible. Regarding tools and colors, the workshop always adapts to the people present and to the kind of result each participant would like to achieve. The quantities of materials and the tools provided are suggested accordingly. This is actually the first time I have received this kind of feedback, especially since there are no limits on the use of colors or brushes, which are available in different sizes. I will still take your comment into consideration. At the same time, I do try to avoid unnecessary waste, as participants are not always aware of how much material is actually needed. Thank you in any case for sharing your feedback!
Last day in Venice and a small gift we gave ourselves: try the experience of creating a mask "ours" to take home. The owner very kind, nice and extremely helpful. Affordable for everyone, with less or more experience in painting. Really recommended!

Incredibly pleasant host. She knew just the right balance to ensure my mask did not turn out to be a train wreck, but gave me a lot of latitude where I did make my own. I would highly recommend any family doing this if you’re in Venice.
