Itinerario
Ci incontriamo alle 7:30 per iniziare il nostro viaggio una volta nella vita. Saliamo a bordo del nostro trasporto privato sulla rotta per La Cumbre a 4700m. Una volta lì, otteniamo tutta la nostra attrezzatura (caschi, guanti, ginocchiere / gomitiere, pantaloni / giacca) e le nostre bici di punta (bici Kona Full Suspension con freni a disco idraulici). Le nostre biciclette vengono mantenute dopo ogni utilizzo e nel nostro negozio ne abbiamo più di 100, assicurandoti di ottenere una bici che è stata revisionata e adeguata alla tua altezza. Inoltre, i freni sono sul lato che li desideri (paesi diversi usano lati diversi per il freno anteriore / posteriore e non vorrai prendere il freno sbagliato perché non è impostato per il tuo paese). Le nostre guide hanno in media 10 anni di esperienza nella guida su questa incredibile strada. Ti danno istruzioni dettagliate prima di iniziare la corsa per aiutarti a rimanere al sicuro e a tuo agio durante la nostra discesa. Dopo la nostra induzione di sicurezza, iniziamo il nostro giro. I primi 24 km della corsa sono sull'asfalto, questa è una grande opportunità per farti un'idea della tua bici e dei freni e se sei pronto per ottenere una certa velocità. Le incredibili ande mostrano il loro splendore mentre ci muoviamo attraverso questa spettacolare valle, facendo piccole soste per ammirare i panorami e così le guide possono spiegare le prossime sezioni. Alla fine arriviamo a Unduavi dove ogni pilota deve pagare una tassa di circolazione. Qui cariciamo le nostre bici e facciamo una grande salita sull'autobus. L'autobus arriva in cima alla vecchia strada, conosciuta come Death Road. Le tue guide ti daranno un briefing sulla sicurezza e controlleranno tutte le bici. Le sterili montagne innevate che abbiamo superato sono ormai lontane e ora siamo nell'incredibile foresta di nuvole. Iniziamo letteralmente sopra le nuvole, quindi attraversiamo e fuggiamo da loro nella giungla lussureggiante. Gli ultimi 40 km del nostro giro sono fuori dal mondo, mentre ci incamminiamo lungo un'incredibile strada scavata nel lato delle Ande, passando attraverso cascate, fiumi, piccole comunità, giù, giù, fino alla giungla fumante. I panorami della valle sono mozzafiato e la scarica di adrenalina e puro divertimento sono incomparabili. Abbiamo diverse fermate lungo la strada per ammirare i panorami e per i nostri briefing sulla sicurezza. Questo è importante per conoscere eventuali angoli o tratti difficili della strada prima di arrivare e in modo che le guide possano rispondere a qualsiasi domanda, raccontare alcune barzellette e darti un po 'dell'affascinante storia di questa strada. Ci fermiamo due volte per rinfrescarci con uno spuntino meritato e c'è acqua illimitata fornita durante il viaggio. Finiamo il giro nel nostro rifugio nella giungla dove ci godiamo un delizioso buffet, un tuffo in piscina e relax. Ci sono anche docce calde e sapone / shampoo / asciugamani per te. Dopo aver rilassato e celebrato il nostro fantastico giro, saliamo sull'autobus per il nostro viaggio di 3,5 ore di ritorno a La Paz, dove verremo lasciati nei pressi dei nostri hotel. Molte persone dicono che questa è la migliore esperienza del loro viaggio in Sud America, assicurati di farlo in sicurezza con una compagnia rispettabile che si concentra sul darti un giro fantastico.

Great experience cycling death road, the equipment, bike especially was top class and Remy our guide could not have been better. He provided great entertainment along with top class skill.
Our guide Remi made the experience super fun but also (and importantly) very safe! His English was great and he gave very clear instructions! The whole experience was amazing. Also shout out to our driver Oscar who got us there and back safely.
We were excellently managed by Barracuda Biking with a warm welcome in the morning including breakfast, transport to starting point. And during downhill with several pauses the team Remy, Mauricio and Ruben were taking care about the group taking photos, checking bike breaks and giving advises. Barracuda Biking and named team is highly recommended!
This was a highlight of my trip to Bolivia!! The scenery was absolutely stunning. Remy and Alvaro were the BEST and gave us so many tips to staying safe. I felt totally supported going at my own pace and also trusted to make the experience what I wanted it to be. The small group size allowed for an intimate experience and Remy and Alvaro made sure to take so many photos along the way. At every stop, they also checked our equipment to make sure it was safe and comfortable. The equipment was high quality which made a huge difference in the comfort of the trip. Thank you to our driver as well!
I loved every second of the tour! From the beginning, when I was delayed because La Paz was in a crisis and it was difficult for me to take a taxi to reach the meeting point, I communicated with them, and they kindly waited for me. Cristian and César are very kind, attentive, and prepared guides for any situation. At all times, they asked me if I was okay or needed anything; I did not feel uncomfortable at any moment for any reason. Two girls from our group fell off their bikes while we were going down, and they were attentive and ready for any situation. They had a first aid kit on the bus, and Cristian provided a small treatment to one of the girls with great care and hygiene. I really have nothing to complain about or point out as a negative aspect of the experience with them. I loved every second of the tour ❤️ Thank you, guys ❤️
The entire team of guides showed themselves very professional, friendly, inquisitive and animated, making fun stops for photos or videos throughout the course, I have no observation about them that is not positive! The only negative observation I have is about the company: a few hours before the appointment I had doubts about the address, I sent zap, I called (more than once) and I did not get a return, so I headed to the destination that I thought was right, what was already there is that they gave me a return, so this is the point of complaint: stay more attentive to the communication channel in the evening to support the customer!

Very good experience, the quality of the tour was very good starting from the super bikes, the driver, the guides, and all the equipment. I really liked the attention from the guide Remy for the tips and recommendations he provided every time I needed while taking photos and videos, and giving us snacks, and Álvaro always checking the safety of the bikes. They made the experience phenomenal, and I would definitely do it again!
Excellent day tour out of La Paz. Cristian and Cesar were very professional and we had so much fun; we even got to zip line half way through the death road! Would highly recommend!
