This tour is the most comprehensive tour of St. Paul in Thessaloniki! The guide is fabulous and also very personable! His love for Thessaloniki and sharing the stories of Paul and his companions in multiple journeys to Thessaloniki is contagious! He also related the history in Thessaloniki to St. Paul’s other journeys in Corinth, Philippi, Berea, and other cities. He showed us the important places, but also gave us the cultural context of what was happening! It was a perfect way to start our time in Thessaloniki!
Giorgos is a fantastic tour guide who brings the journeys of Paul the Apostle to life with remarkable historical depth and enthusiasm. His understanding of Paul’s travels and the early church adds a richness that makes every moment meaningful. My wife and I asked plenty of questions throughout the tour, and Giorgos always responded with either a clear explanation or a well‑placed cliff‑hanger that kept us fully engaged. A great two hour focusing on the history of the Apostle Paul in the region. Giorgos was knowledgeable, kind, and personable. You can tell he really loves his work. We learned a lot about Greek history! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Biblical history.
This was one of the best tours we did on our trip to Thessaloniki! Girogos was very knowledgeable and went through the details in Paul's letters to the Thessalonians as well as what was recorded in Acts on the tour. He also connected it to the Thessaloniki/Greek history of the time. We learned info that really helped us understand more the context/history of the time when Paul wrote his letters. Girogos also took us to some amazing spots we wouldn't have known about on our own. Highly recommend this tour if you are in Thessaloniki!
