L'esperienza dell'Istria inizia a Zagabria quando la nostra guida ti verrà a prendere al tuo alloggio. Il viaggio da Zagabria a Pola dura circa 3 ore, quindi consigliamo sempre un inizio anticipato per questo tour. Quindi, la nostra prima tappa è la città di Pola. PULA - la più grande città e il centro della penisola istriana. La prima menzione della città risale al 10 ° secolo a.C. quando fu fondata da un'antica tribù. La città era ben nota ai viaggiatori e ai marinai greci, quindi fu inclusa anche in alcuni miti greci. I romani hanno reso forte la città nel 1 ° secolo e esplorerai con noi i vivaci resti di quell'epoca. Durante questo periodo le mura furono costruite intorno alla città e i resti sono visibili anche oggi. Rovigno è un vero gioiello e adorato dai turisti perché in realtà ad ogni passo che fai sei costretto a scattare un'altra foto. Ancora 45 minuti in auto e siamo a POREČ - la città vecchia di quasi 2000 anni è famosa per la sua basilica eufrasiana, che risale al 1997. nella lista del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. È una delle destinazioni turistiche più popolari in Istria. Si può ancora notare l'influenza romana e l'architettura della città. Camminerai per le strade principali, ancora conservate nella sua forma originale.

Our guide picked us up at 7:30am and we enjoyed a full day in beautiful Istria! Rovinj was absolutely wonderful and we were afforded a good amount of time to tour it alone before proceeding to Pula. Our guide was caring, explained the history of Croatia in detail and ensured our constant wellbeing. 100% recommended!
Tonya picked up our family of 5 from our apartment in Zagreb in a private comfortable van. This is a day trip but ABSOLUTELY worth it! The history in these 3 cities is unbelievable! You feel like you are in Italy! We walked through all the cities, saw a bunch of the main churches, basilica and had lunch at an Italian restaurant right on the water with a beautiful view! Our favorite part was the Colosseum. We have seen so many all over the world, but this was very intact, and they are always so breathtaking in view. We ended the night getting hot coco and letting our children enjoy the Christmas village in the square. Tonya was so wonderful with our children!

Tanija was a most excellent guide. It was quite a drive from Zagreb, but so worth it to see the old Illyria of Rome. The colosseum was incredible...

It was a long trip and truth to tell, there was not much to see. Our guide, Milan, was very nice but he didn't really say much about each destination. He was nice, friendly, funny, accommodating but I didn't learn much about each place because he gave us very little or no info about each place we visited. He drove us to all these places, let us off, told us how many minutes we had in each place and that was it! I could have given this tour a miss!
Thank you for your review. I understand that the tour is long. We wrote in our explanation of the tour that the tour is minimum 12 hours. The thing is that since we know when someone has only one day to get to know a destination we try to show as many spots possible. Sometimes it makes the day longer but we think its worth it. Pick up at your hotel and your convenience time to your request. Totally private and you can re arranged your itinerary & places you like to spend more time. Got to see 3 great places in a day. My driver/guide was so informative with the history and surrounding and I learned a lot in just a day.

Our private tour of Istria was a great experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and offered us options of sites to visit based on our interests. Rovinj was the jewel of the trip. A beautiful Venetian seaside town with the feel of Italy. Recommend taking a boat tour to get another perspective of the town and surrounding islands. The medieval town of Hum was very quaint and reminded us of the hillside towns in Tuscany. Would highly recommend this tour.

We went on a day trip to Istria and other wonderful places in the area of west Croatia. Beside having the best time visiting those places, we were lucky to have Tania as our guide. She was very friendly, helpful and also a great companion for our journy. Deeply recommended.
