Amazing places to see. So different to our own country. A bit if a trek in the heat. Maybe not for you if you're not fit

Our Driver arrived on time at our hotel...we headed off to the Temple of Bats where we had a chance to see the beauty in architecture of the states & temple itself..the Bats were in abundance but not in clear view...then off to the Water Gardens where the pools were filled with plenty of very good size Goldfish & other types...landscape was beautifully lined with very well maintained plants...pools had pavers where you were able to cross the water & get better look at the pools & fish...Weheaded off to Lunch where the lunch was surrounded with Rice Paddies & lush green forests...up in the Hilld of Bali...staff very friendly & prompt with our food & drinks. The Gateway to Heaven was everything I had hoped for...& more...even though getting there is not for the faint hearted...lots of steps up the hill...& very steep climb...

What can I say ..wow, wow, wow. From the time we were picked up from our hotel until we got dropped back the whole experience was faultless. Our guide and driver for the day was brilliant and didn't stop all day. Our guide was Dewa Gunawan and he was professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout and made the tour unique and special even helping take photos. Thank you so much Dewa for a fantastic day and lastly I would highly recommend the company and Dewa without hesitation

Had a fantastic day out to East Bali yesterday. Everything ran well. We expected it to be a full on day and it really was. We were picked up from our hotel in Ubud promptly and taken to all of our requested stops. These guys really work hard for their money and try to show you as much as possible. We were really glad that we did the trip and look forward to our trip next week to Nusa Penida!

The first leg of the trip to Besakih was a disappointment, to no fault of our tour guide Dewa. Apparently in that area, they're forcing tours to use local guides so locals can make money off it. Our local guide put no effort into introducing us to the temples, nor did he give us time to take pictures. We took a scooter up the mountain accompanied by a driver(1 per scooter), and at the end, they asked us for tip for a short minute ride. Also don't get conned by the women on the street forcing you to buy flowers for temple offerings - it is not a requirement but we did not know and the local guide didn't mention anything either. We went to a buffet with Indonesian food for lunch - a nice surprise since we did not know lunch was included. Beautiful rice paddy view. Includes unlimited tea and coffee. You have to pay for juices and other beverages. Also got to try snakefruit here, which was nice because I really did not want to buy it on the streets. The water palace was beautiful but expect to queue to take pictures. The queue is not too bad. Dewa also got us some fish food for the fish. A nice short stop. Finally, heaven's gate. Definitely not what you see on Instagram. We waited almost 2 hours for our turn for a picture. Be prepared for a climb to get to the photo area as well. You either have to take the stairs or a steep uphill. Prepare mentally for your photos as you get only 3 opportunities and must change pose right away. You get 3 poses as a group, then 3 poses for each individual. Dewa was patient with everything when he was with us.

We spent our day with our guide Dewa. Dewa was great and made this day for us unforgettable. He explained everything very well and brought us to amazing places. This was the best trip we did during our holidays in Bali. It was very well organized (Sarung, all entries, lunch and water was actually included), reliable and most import: sooo much fun. Definitely recommend to do this tour, even if it might be a couple of hours drive in Balinese traffic ;). All 3 places are must see in Bali and very beautiful. Thanks for everything!!!

It was a pleasure to meet Made for a trip around the est of Bali. He allows us to discover the island like a local. Very friendly to stop us a lot of time to take picture and he Also explain something interesting about the balineese culture. I suggest him to everyone wants to explore Bali

Our driver and tour guide Made made this trip fantastic for us. He is knowledgeable, kind, genuine and accommodating. This made our trip great as he was eager to share this knowledge with us which we found very interesting and informative. We have been to Bali 5 times and each time go on a different tour. Made made this one our best one to date! He was also very prepared as he brought water, ponchos and umberellas for us as it looked like it may rain. We couldn’t recommend him enough! Our favourite part of the tour was the water temple and gate to heaven.

My best friend and I just returned to the states and the best part of our trip was meeting Made and not only visiting the sites but conversing with our guide. Made picked us up on time and as we were en route he asked if we were going to see the elephants. We hadn’t planned to that day but he said he could ask his boss and they threw it in for free! On this day we also went to the Mother Temple, Gates of Heaven and the Water Palace. Made made sure we used our time wisely and did as much as possible. The next day he took us to Bali Swing and to a Waterfall. He was an excellent driver as well as fun to talk to. We can’t wait to return and book with him again! Thank you Made!!!
