All'interno di una residenza di Kyoto vecchia di 100 anni, vivi un'autentica ma accogliente cerimonia del tè che ti invita a rallentare e connetterti con la cultura Giapponese attraverso la curiosità e la conversazione. Solo in estate, la nostra cerimonia del tè assume una speciale forma stagionale. Per darvi il benvenuto durante la stagione più calda di Kyoto, prepariamo utensili da tè in vetro la cui bellezza chiara e delicata porta un tranquillo senso di freschezza e permette di assaporare la stagione attraverso i sensi. Dietro a questa esperienza c’è aeru, azienda culturale Giapponese fondata 15 anni fa, a partire dall’artigianato tradizionale pensato per i bambini. La nostra missione è “Trasmettere l’eredità spirituale del Giappone alle generazioni future”. Crediamo che sia gli oggetti creati da abili artigiani che i momenti plasmati attraverso la cerimonia del tè possano portare consapevolezza e gentilezza nella vita di tutti i giorni. Had a great experience! Learned about the culture of tea in Japan and was a relaxing activity after all the busyness during our trip. Our host Kiyoka was so friendly and easy to talk to, she’s was amazing. Can’t recommend this enough!
If you are looking for an authentic, intentional experience in Kyoto, do not miss this. Located in a central but wonderfully quiet 100-year-old house, it feels like a secret treasure. We were guided by Hana, whose immense knowledge and gentle spirit made the session deeply impactful. The entire ceremony possessed a mesmerizing, dance-like quality. It was incredibly moving to see how much purpose was woven into every single movement. This experience perfectly blends traditional custom with a calming, meditative flow. Hana masterfully showed us how to wrap everyday tasks in a layer of purpose, giving us the tools to exalt the ordinary. An absolute highlight of our trip that we will carry with us for a long time
