Kyoto : Cerimonia del tè Okada & Kimono

This was a traditional tea ceremony. My family and I enjoyed learning about an authentic ritual. This was a great experience and I encourage people looking for a yea ceremony to pick this one. The staff is very professional and friendly.

Everyone at the ceremony was so kind. Myself and daughter, got lost on the way twice and ended up being 30 minutes late. We marched through Kyoto in incredible humid conditions arriving sweaty and worked up. Everyone was so kind and managed to squeeze us in. They didn’t rush us, and allowed us to experience everything at our pace. The choice of kimonos is fantastic. Including Hair accessories and bags. The tea ceremony was so calming and beautifully executed. I hope that we did it justice. I would 100% recommend men and women to give this a try. They also allow you to walk around Kyoto in the kimono until the end of the day. We hired a local tuktuk to show us some of the local site. As we had already walked three times the amount after getting lost on the way. Haha

truly magical. we got very lucky with our beautiful tea ceremony instructor. for a short amount of time she transferred us to the different universe where we could unplug, unwind and fully enjoy the old world tradition of enjoying the tea. her movements, explanation and grace will follow us for quite some time. thank you

This is a fabulous experience. We were warmly greeted and quickly showed where to pick out our kimonos. Staff assisted in fully dressing us, including purse, hair and shoes. Then the tea ceremony - so professional, educational, and traditional. Our tea master also took photos for us and taught us how to make the tea after he ceremony. So friendly and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone! A wonderful cultural experience filled with traditional instruction.

We had beatiful tea ceremony with great team that dressed us with traditional kimono cloth. Don't miss this attraction while viditing in Kyoto. This was excellent, and we also had the time to make a walking outside the shop with the kimono's.

This kimono rental and tea ceremony was the highlight of our travels in Japan. The kimono selection is beautiful and high quality. The hair and kimono dressing was perfection. The tea ceremony was incredibly educational and emotional. We can all learn from the tea Japanese tradition, being in harmony with yourself, others and nature in the best gift. I highly recommend this experience.

If you want an authentic Japanese tea ceremony experience this is it! I was so hesitant because I had seen so many experiences and was not sure which to select. THIS was such a beautiful experience and afternoon! We were a party of 6 but the room only holds 4, so plan accordingly if in groups. We had a wonderful time as a party of 6!! The hair gals are fast and fantastic.

Such a beautiful and moving ceremony! Private just us was amazing. Our guide was graceful and wonderful! Also, I think this is the best kimmo rental shop in town! Photos turned out amazing. Memories we will take with us forever!
