Kyoto : Cerimonia del tè Okada & Kimono

This is a fabulous experience. We were warmly greeted and quickly showed where to pick out our kimonos. Staff assisted in fully dressing us, including purse, hair and shoes. Then the tea ceremony - so professional, educational, and traditional. Our tea master also took photos for us and taught us how to make the tea after he ceremony. So friendly and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone! A wonderful cultural experience filled with traditional instruction.

We had beatiful tea ceremony with great team that dressed us with traditional kimono cloth. Don't miss this attraction while viditing in Kyoto. This was excellent, and we also had the time to make a walking outside the shop with the kimono's.

This kimono rental and tea ceremony was the highlight of our travels in Japan. The kimono selection is beautiful and high quality. The hair and kimono dressing was perfection. The tea ceremony was incredibly educational and emotional. We can all learn from the tea Japanese tradition, being in harmony with yourself, others and nature in the best gift. I highly recommend this experience.

If you want an authentic Japanese tea ceremony experience this is it! I was so hesitant because I had seen so many experiences and was not sure which to select. THIS was such a beautiful experience and afternoon! We were a party of 6 but the room only holds 4, so plan accordingly if in groups. We had a wonderful time as a party of 6!! The hair gals are fast and fantastic.

This was truly one of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve never experienced anything like this before—it genuinely touched my heart. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, intentional, and welcoming. The gentleman guiding us through the experience was exceptional. His presence alone brought a sense of peace, and the way he explained the tea ceremony made it so much more than just an activity. He shared that it’s not simply about tea, but about mindfulness, balance, and connecting your mind, body, and soul—and you could truly feel that throughout the entire experience. The experience was thoughtfully arranged across three spaces. First, the kimono dressing was incredible—the team took so much time and care with every detail, from the outfit to the hair and accessories. They made us feel comfortable, beautiful, and completely immersed. Then we moved to the tea space, where everything was explained so clearly and gracefully. We began with tea and sweets, and then were guided through the ceremony step by step. It was peaceful, grounding, and deeply moving. What stood out most was the warmth and hospitality. Every person we met was kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming. This experience didn’t just teach me about Japanese culture—it left a lasting impact on me personally.
