BOSCO DI BAMBÙ Cammina sotto il bambù svettante di Arashiyama Bamboo Grove e visita il sacro Santuario di Nonomiya OKOCHI SANSO GARDEN Esplorate l'elegante Okochi Sanso Garden, dove vengono serviti matcha e altre bevande, calde o fredde, nella sua ex casa da tè. Esplora il boschetto di bambù e raggiungi la cima del parco Arashiyama
Prenditi il tuo tempo per goderti il giardino privato di Okochi Sanso, siediti e fai un respiro profondo, con una bevanda servita in un'ex casa da tè trasformata in un'area di sosta.
Esplora uno dei templi più famosi della città, al chiuso e all'aperto, e ammira i pesci Koi nello stagno. Goditi la natura intorno a te e scopri di più sul luogo che stai visitando.
OPZIONE A Fermati in ogni singolo negozio che vuoi scoprire quella straordinaria via dello shopping di Arashiyama e chiedi alla tua Guida di aiutarti con qualsiasi cosa.
OPZIONE A Oltre al boschetto di bambù, questo è probabilmente il secondo luogo più popolare per una foto con il fiume Katsura e la vista maestosa di questo iconico ponte.
OPZIONE A Dopo la fine del tour, e lasciando alla tua Guida ricordi felici pieni di bambù e storie meravigliose, fai un'escursione sulla collina ed esplora il parco delle scimmie. Quel posto è particolarmente emozionante per famiglie e bambini.
OPZIONE B Lasciati i turisti alle spalle, e torna alla stazione ferroviaria con la tua Guida a Kameoka, una zona situata sull'altro lato della montagna. Dopo essere arrivati a Kameoka, prendetevi un meritato riposo con un pranzo locale (budget non incluso, circa ¥ 1.500).
OPZIONE B Il nostro viaggio culmina nel prestigioso Tanzan Sake Brewery, rinomato per la sua artigianalità e la dedizione ai metodi di produzione tradizionali. Qui, imparerai a conoscere il delicato processo di produzione del sake - dalla lucidatura e fermentazione del riso alla maturazione. Nota bene: alcune sezioni del birrificio potrebbero non essere accessibili a seconda della stagione di produzione e del programma di produzione. Ciò garantisce sia il controllo di qualità che la sicurezza durante i periodi di produzione attiva. L'esperienza si conclude con una degustazione guidata di sake, dove assaporerai diverse varietà e scoprirai i sottili aromi, consistenze e sapori che rendono il sake Giapponese premium così distintivo. Alternativa non alcolica possibile, ma limitata a uno o due tipi di bevande.

Super tour guide, with a lot of knowledge (even off the tour) and was able to manage the tour perfectly in German - engages with all individuals including children and is highly recommended!

What an incredible experience! Toro was an absolutely amazing guide! He took us through the breathtaking Arashiyama Forest, a beautiful temple, and a stunning Japanese garden in Kyoto. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and he kept everyone laughing throughout the tour. He even amazed us with a fun magic trick, which was such a unique touch! Toro is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about what he does. He made every stop interesting and memorable. Our guide Raphael welcomed us very kindly and provided us with a wealth of knowledge about the culture/religion, the sights, and the growth of bamboo throughout the tour. He also gave us great recommendations for local dishes and snacks along the way. There was also plenty of time to collect stamps :) The stop at the tea house with various types of tea to try was also great. Thank you very much for the informative morning with great views over Kyoto.

This was a great sample of Kyoto and a great way to get out of the city. Our multigenerational family of 10 enjoyed learning about the history of the places we visited, having some leisure in addition to the guided parts, and Tom, our guide, was incredibly patient, kind, and spoke terrific English! Highly recommend this tour, especially with Tom. Be advised the monkey park, which was so neat to see, is about a 15-20 minute walk up a steep hill. However, if monkeys aren’t your thing, the views alone are worthwhile.

We got lucky the bamboo forest was super empty, but we were through there and the temple park pretty fast. In the Zen Garden we spend a litte more time. Raphael was a super informative guide with great English. He also took really nice pictures of us and was overall fun to be around. We ended up being a small group of four people. The organisation and visit of the monkey park were really good. Our guide Raphael also gave us great recommendations for the rest of the day and where the food was good. Definitely recommended for it's price.
We had a great time in the bamboo forest and the monkey park. The tour guide (Matheus) was patient and friendly. My husband has a bad back and had to stop frequently. It was a very rainy day to boot. The monkey park was worth climbing for!

Our family of 10 had a great visit with Tom. He spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable about the area and Japan’s history, and was good to make sure everyone was engaged and could keep up. It was the right amount of time in each place with a nice break along the way. The hike to the monkeys was steep, but worthwhile for us. I highly recommend Tom and this tour for a taste of Kyoto history.

Tom was very friendly and competent. In particular, the language skills were excellent. He provided a lot of information about the places and also answered additional questions in detail. He tailored the tour very individually to the group and allowed sufficient time when the group required it.
I did the option B tour (Arashimaya sights and ending with sake tasting at Tanzan sake brewery in Kameoka) today, and I had a great time with Tom! Initially I was a bit bummed out that it was raining incessantly today, but Tom’s positive attitude and enthusiasm more than made up for the rain! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this walking tour.
