Sachiko-san and Fuji-san from H.I.S. Co., Ltd. met us at the station and took us to the best distillery tour I have ever experienced. The facility tour was excellent, and you get to see every step of the process except bottling. The Yamazaki tour guide, Kumi-san, was helpful and knowledgeable. The tasting room experience was top notch. The Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art was a pleasant addition, offering works by Monet and a lovely garden. Bring food and snacks. Recommended!
Fantastic experience, worth every penny. Sachiko was a lovely guide and teacher! We never felt rushed and had many great experiences. 10/10 highlight of our time in Kyoto.
Wow this experience was well worth the wait and exceeded expectations. Our guide planned a perfect day, starting with an art museum before the distillery tour. The day was just amazing and of course the Japanese whiskey tasted oh so good.

We had an amazing time with our host Woohee, she was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely courteous. The tour itself was incredible but having Woohee as our host made it truly memorable.
Sachiko was our host. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and pointed out a few things on the walk to the distillery. The tour was fantastic, and since tickets are based on a lottery system, a tour gets you in without that hastle. The museum tour was a pleasant surprise. The grounds were beautiful, and they had 3 Monets and a Picasso to view. When touring the garden I smelled something a beautiful smell. Several days later our guide messaged me and after some investigation found the flower for me. I had a great time.
We had a great experience in the tour. Our guide, Sashiko was great and very thorough with everything was saw leading up to and after the tour. The distillery tour was a fantastic experience and happy we were able to participate in this during our visit to Japan. Would definitely recommend this experience
Very lovely experience. Our guide Sachiko was so sweet and kind spoke good English. The art museum was a treat with the Monet exhibit. The whiskey tour was a blast! Great samples fun time. The other individuals on our tour were fun to hang out with. Highly recommend to whiskey lovers.
