Itinerario
Dopo il museo guidiamo fino alla cattedrale di Bagrati che domina la città. Fu costruito nell'XI secolo come simbolo della Georgia unita.
Successivamente ci spostiamo nel monastero di Gelati del XII secolo. Ci sono 3 grandi chiese, un'accademia, una tomba di David il Costruttore, un campanile e case di monaci nel complesso. Fu costruito dal più grande re georgiano David The Builder.
Il monastero di Motsameta è legato alla storia dei fratelli signori David e Costantino Mkheidze torturati. È costruito sulla scogliera ed è circondato dal fiume da 3 lati. La natura e i colori intorno al monastero sono incredibili.
Tour a piedi nel centro di Kutaisi
In primo luogo, guidiamo a Tskaltubo e visitiamo la primavera # 6, dove la Guida racconta dell'occupazione sovietica. Successivamente camminiamo verso la Primavera #8 che ha l'architettura più insolita tra le sorgenti Tskaltubo. Il seguente posto è Spring #5. La tappa successiva è il Sanatorium Gelati, appositamente costruito per i bambini e c'è un vecchio parco giochi e un bel punto panoramico sulla costruzione interna. Dopo "Gelati" camminiamo al sanatorio "Medea", seguendo con "Druzhba". L'ultima sequenza del tour è la stazione ferroviaria di Tskaltubo.
L'ultima attività del tour è la degustazione di vini nell'enoteca locale - Vino ambrato. Una volta arrivati lì il padrone di casa - Irakli ci parla dei vini e altre bevande nel suo bar. Il tavolo con bicchieri, vini e snack è già apparecchiato per noi. Ci sediamo e Irakli inizia a raccontare la storia del vino, la cultura e le tecniche di vinificazione in Georgia. Poi iniziamo a degustare i vini uno per uno e a fare abbinamento con il cibo. Una volta che tutti e 4 i vini sono finiti finiamo con Chacha che è bevanda spiritosa georgiana ed è fatta da uva o distillazione del vino. Dopo la rifinitura l’esperienza gli ospiti potranno soggiornare nel bar e proseguire la serata con i loro vini preferiti.

This tour is perfect if you are short on time in Kutaisi as you get to see a bit of everything. The highlight was the winery visit- the food and wine were delicious and I was able to buy some wine. Special shout out to Lasha who was a fantastic guide.
Good tour to discover some highlights in Kutaisi ( the Gelati is closed for the moment for restauration) and a visit to a wineyard ( Baia & family), both our guide Saba and Baia gave us good insights and patiently answered questions. Last but not least: the Georgian spread was amazing!
This tour was fantastic ! We got to learn so much thanks to our guide. The beautiful religious architecture, the history of Gerogia, the interesting spots in Kutaissi, the wine culture... It was very fun and thanks to our guide we felt very safe during the whole time.

We loved the authentic Georgian food and the very warm hospitality of the owners of the vineyard that we have visited. Plus an interaction with Bingo, a very kind and sweet dog. Wonderful experience overall. Lasha ensured that we had a good experience and shared the histories of the cathedrals and story of the family winery. Met the lovelyladies from Lithuania, had good laughs, good toasts and great smiles specially during dining and wine tasting. Amazing.

The trip i took with Budget Georgia is really worth the money. We spent a full day discovering historical cathedrals, got to learn about their culture. Went to the winery and what a lovely people there! The authentic Georgian food amazing!! I highly recommend booking your trips with these guys. They have also transfer services to other cities and their prices are really affordable. My guide was Mariami and she is a pleasant person. We had so much fun, laughs and good memories that i will taking home with me♥️
amazing experience. the guide was very knowledgable and we got to know a lot about georgian history. he explained us the processes of wine-making, which added more value to the experience. the dinner was unforgettable and there were even many vegan options available.
