Saranno disponibili visite guidate nella foresta pluviale e ingresso gratuito al Santuario delle Farfalle a Kuranda. Partendo da Port Douglas o Palm Cove (non Cairns), goditi un tour di un giorno di Kuranda per piccoli gruppi, limitato a 20 persone per un'esperienza personale e coinvolgente. Viaggia a bordo della storica Kuranda Scenic Railway, che si snoda attraverso la lussureggiante foresta pluviale per raggiungere Kuranda. Ti incontriamo a Kuranda e ti trasferiamo al villaggio, dove la tua Guida ti mostrerà i suoi famosi mercati e la vivace scena artistica. Dopo due ore di esplorazione, ti veniamo a prendere a Kuranda e ti aiutiamo a salire sulla premiata funivia Skyrail Rainforest Cableway per panorami mozzafiato. Termina la giornata con una sosta a Palm Cove per un drink rilassante (a proprie spese) prima di tornare a Port Douglas per le 5 : 30–6 : 30 pm.

Partiamo da tutti gli hotel di Port Douglas e Palm Cove, ci rechiamo alla Skyrail Rainforest Cableway per una straordinaria esperienza pluripremiata sulla foresta pluviale Patrimonio dell'Umanità. La nostra guida autista ti incontra nel villaggio di Kuranda dove hai tempo libero per goderti i mercati, le gallerie, il Santuario delle Farfalle, i giardini di Koala e pranzare in uno dei tanti ristoranti. Si ritorna quindi in autobus o è possibile aggiornare per aggiungere il treno panoramico Kuranda. Ci fermiamo poi a Palm Cove per mezz’ora dove potrete sorseggiare un cocktail o bere qualcosa (a vostre spese) affacciandovi sulla bellissima spiaggia, per poi tornare al vostro hotel di Port Douglas.

Great tour! Pete was a great tour guide. His playlist on the ride home is flawless! Highly recommend.
Overall the itinerary was average and it felt like we spent more time travelling to each place than admiring the place itself. Due to maintenance work on the cable car we had to drive to Kuranda instead. Our tour guide Chris was pleasant and funny, however, he brought his dog with him which we felt was not ideal. The dog kept on brushing against our feet and laying down in our foot wells. People's allergies/phobias should be taken into consideration especially as Chris didn't provide any advance warning. We also felt rushed at Palm Cove as we weren't given any time to enjoy the sunset/views at the beach and instead were forced to eat our pizza quickly before getting back on the bus. On the return journey Chris had put fun disco lights and music on making the long journey back to Port Douglas more enjoyable.

We continually review our itineraries during these temporary operational changes and have made some adjustments going forward. We normally allow approximately 30 minutes at Palm Cove, which gives guests an opportunity to enjoy this lovely final stop before returning to Port Douglas. We're sorry that on this occasion you felt you needed more time. We'd also like to clarify that Chris's dog isn't simply a pet brought along for the day; he is Chris's support animal and an important part of his wellbeing. We do, however, appreciate your point regarding allergies and phobias and the importance of making guests aware in advance. very enjoyable and informatve trip Was a long day however, starting with pick-up at 8am I am not sure why we had to stop at Palm Cove, was not part of the itinary given to us beforehand, thus made the day an hour longer and cause us to be late for our evening engagement. Regards

We allow approximately 30 minutes there for guests to enjoy the beachfront or have a drink before continuing back to their accommodation. We're sorry to hear you were late for your evening engagement. As this is a full-day touring experience, we always recommend allowing some flexibility around evening plans, as return times can occasionally be affected by traffic and other circumstances during the day. Thank you Chris and Bosun for a wonderful day. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to Kuranda. There we visited the bird sanctuary and koala gardens but had to pay for this. We were then taken to the sky train which was a fantastic experience. Unfortunately the sky rail is closed at the moment so we didn’t get to do this. Chris then turned his disco ball on and we sung on the way home.

As the sky rail was closed for maintenance we had Hartleys crocodile experience added to our day . This was a fantastic inclusion. Could have spent longer there but the value was excellent. Kuranda markets were a little disappointing as the stalls were very sparse. The train was fantastic. Beautiful scenery and the history of the rail line was very interesting. Our driver Peter was absolutely fantastic. Informative funny and cheerful. His playlist on the journey home was A plus! It ended up a long day but never felt like it. Having the opportunity to have pizza and a cocktail in Palm Cove meant we just had to return to hotel and put our feet up. Highly recommended this tour

Enjoyable day trip to Kuranda. The heritage "hippy" market is so quirky . It meanders up and down on a hillside in the forest. I've never seen anything like it. Not a big market, but umissable. Our driver Peter was great. I would highly recommend including the Gold Class upgrade on the scenic train...comfy seats, nice snack food, unlimited drinks.

Take skyrail up and down the train ride was ok if you where facing fawards and a bit uncomfortable if facing backwards
