Il tour delle cozze è un'esperienza locale unica in cui incontrerai la nostra regina, la famosa cozza blu del lago di Butrinto. Il viaggio inizierà su una barca tradizionale, prima, fermandosi agli allevamenti di cozze. Verrà spiegato il processo di coltivazione delle cozze e prenderemo delle cozze fresche direttamente dalla fattoria, la prossima tappa sarà al ristorante ma prima di essere lì ci sarà un piccolo coinvolgimento nel processo di separazione. Ognuno di noi indosserà i guanti e inizierà a separare le regine. Il lavoro, la navigazione e la meditazione per 15 minuti saranno facoltativi per ogni ospite. Successivamente, navigheremo verso un'altra parte del Parco Nazionale di Butrinto, un ristorante locale e idilliaco, cucineremo insieme due tipi di piatti di cozze conditi con olio d'oliva, limone e prezzemolo accompagnati da vino bianco locale, verdure fresche, pane fatto in casa, e l'acqua per ciascuno completerà la tavola. Dopo aver assaporato il gusto della nostra terra e aver condiviso storie meravigliose, la navigazione di ritorno sarà rilassante guardando il tramonto.

Itinerario
Parco Nazionale di Butrinto. Iniziamo il tour dall'ingresso dell'antica città di Butrint, al canale viavari (11:00) su tradizionali barche a motore con capacità 8+ 2 (Guida e Capitano). Vela verso letti di cozze, struttura in cemento dove coltiviamo cozze, 10 minuti di navigazione. Alle 11:10 arriviamo ai banchi di cozze, prima sosta qui, parcheggiamo la barca e rimaniamo sulla barca godendoci il processo di coltivazione delle cozze spiegato dalla nostra guida locale. Rimani qui per circa 20 minuti. In questo periodo indosseremo i guanti e inizieremo a lavorare come fanno i mitilicoltori, il lavoro e la meditazione saranno.
Alle 11:30 si riparte, questa volta la nostra direzione sarà a Kalivoi, casa del "ricco" nell'antica Roma, parte del Parco Nazionale di Butrint, lì si trova un bel ristorante locale vicino al lago. 15 minuti di navigazione. Alle 11:45 sbarcheremo al ristorante e inizieremo a preparare le cozze che avevamo preso sui mitili. Godendo il pranzo con tre tipi di piatti di cozze, verdure fresche, pane fatto in casa accompagnato con vino bianco locale e acqua per ciascuno. Al ristorante ci fermeremo un'ora, a volte di più.
Alle 12:45 faremo ritorno all'ingresso di Butrinto. Questo periodo è perfetto per collegare questa esperienza visitando allo stesso tempo l'antica città di Butrinto

Terrible, they canceled on us twice and also just minutes before starting. We organized two days of vacation around this activity and they notify us at the last hour (literally, we returned from a beach 2 hours away for this activity and they notify us when we are at the apartment already prepared to go). They canceled the first time and ask us to reorganize it ourselves, when the activity stated it was completely full until Saturday. Even so, I book it again for Saturday. I am the one who asks if it is going to take place in the morning since they do not tell me anything, and my surprise is that they tell me no again, but if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't even notify you. I find it incredible that you come on vacation for 5 days and organize your day around certain activities and these people cancel it on you at the last minute, as if you had time to spare. To this day, I still do not have the refund of the money for the payments I made (€214), neither of them. Honestly, I am not going to recommend it to anyone and, of course, a very bad experience with this tour operator; booking with them is a risk that you will end up with no plans at all. We are leaving tomorrow, so we are left with nothing to do. So, any Spaniard who comes should know what to expect.
This was a fantastic experience! Soraldo Nebo was our guide. He and Captain Dajko gave really great and interesting explanation on the whole process of mussel farming. The food was the highlight of the tour. Every dish was incredible, the salad was fresh and the wine was very tasty. I would highly recommend this tour especially at sunset. The area is gorgeous.
Due to the season, there were no mussels to pick, wash and eat so the experience was very limited…We had a small tour by boat and then ate on the beach and this ended up to be a very expensive dinner for what was offered. We also add that the tour started an hour later than planned, we were informed in advance but still was a bit inconvenient for our plans…and the boat almost left without us despite being there 30min earlier…so overall not a great afternoon. A bit disappointing given the high reviews we read.

Great experience! The food was absolutely delish! Enjoyed getting to visit the muscle farm and learn about the history behind it.
Really good trip. The boat ride around the lagoon was good in its own right, interesting the learn about the farming and cleaning the mussels the great hospitality for dinner.
It is not a sailing tour as described. If you go to a restaurant to eat mussels, it is cheaper. A little was said about mussels.
Hi dear, On the mussel tour we sail on traditional wooden boat, like on prescription. We haven't mentione "sailing boat" if I understood correctly from translation. Normaly when our guests feel that is shared not enough information they do ask and interact. Do not let thinks get lost. The last is about the mussel dishes, you cannot find in all the region mussel dishes that we prepare at mussel tour, especially: grilled mussel on the wood and raw ones. The Mussel Tour was absolutely incredible. My trip to Albania has been amazing, and this has been the best excursion I've experienced here. The captain was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and personable, making the entire experience unforgettable. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and see the captain again next year. The young graduate student who translated for us was a lovely gentleman and did a fantastic job. Thank you, Captain, for the delicious food and the incredible experience. A nice ride in a bun, where one gets an explanation of the breeding Afterward, one goes to the nearby restaurant and can try three different, very delicious shellfish dishes
