We had a great time on this boat excursion! Loved swimming in the cave and jumping from the cliff! Walking around Koufonisi was beautiful, and we had the perfect amount of time. Boat staff were very energetic and nice!
This was an AMAZING trip -- the highlight of our stay in Naxos. My teenage kids loved it. Getting to jump off the boat into the clearest blue water you've ever seen and swim to a secluded beach was just incredible. The food onboard was excellent. The stop at the Koufonissia was very nice, too, with great shops and a nice beach. Be prepared for some transit time on the boat, especially at the beginning and end. We enjoyed just looking at the scenery, but you may want some earbuds or something. We also had some splashing from spray toward the end, but no big deal. You dry off quick in the wind! Crew was really great. Note -- you will swim to at least two of the destinations (the first beach and Rina Cave), so if you want pictures, make sure to have some kind of dry bag with you. This was a great trip.
Overall a great experience, BBQ lunch simple but good, views were great and the amount of time at the swim locations was felt like enough. Only downside was how many people they had on board... They overcrowded the boat and you had little space to even sit, enjoy and to put our small bags.
Excursion from Naxos to Rina Cave, Koufonissi and Kato Koufonissi. INCREDIBLE experience, NOT TO BE MISSED, WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT !! Incredible sea quality at Rina Cave and Kato Koufonissi, but the Bay and the small port of Koufonissi (as well as the village itself) are breathtaking. I have reason to believe that Koufonissi DESERVES a dedicated vacation because it is truly a dream place !
Great day exploring the smaller island of Koufonissia and Rina cave. Probably the best way to tour those areas. Departure 9am return to Ag. Anna port ~6:30pm although I heard it can be closer to 7~7:30 some days. Long day but very fun! We got a confirmation email the afternoon before, explaining what to bring and what to expect and it was all correct. We got on the boat around 8:35AM (the walk is 15 mins or so from Ag. Prokopios, from farther there is a bust stop directly at the port). We left shortly after 9AM. It took about 1.5 hours to get to our first stop and that was the longest of the whole day. We stopped in Upper and Lower islands of Koufonissia for swimming in a secluded beach area, and exploring a quaint village with a lovely beach. We finished the day with a visit to Rina cave which was cool to explore, and offered a cliff for daring jumps into the water!! The lunch was delicious and fresh souvlaki with salad, tzatziki and bread. Plenty of soft drinks and chilled white wine were served. And on our final leg of the trip home they gave out watermelon. Overall, it was a very well planned and executed trip with attentive and thoughtful staff. I will say as a tip it is a small vessel in the open sea after all so if you have any proneness to seasickness then try some remedies like non-drowsy Gravol or pressure-point wristbands because even tho we spent most of the time traveling in the calmer waters close to Naxos island, there was overall a lot of time spent travelling on the boat and also a small amount of time spent in the choppy open sea or bobbing in wakes while moored in the port
This trip was amazing! Well organized, great communication from the operator, and a fun day on the water. There were several swim spots - the first was a quick swim and snorkel off the baat, with the chance to swim to a secluded beach; the second was during our time to explore the beautiful island of Koufonissia where you could swim at the sandy beach and the third was at Rina Cave - we jumped off the boat and swam into the cave! Some of the adventurous guests also jumped off the cliffs. The staff were all friendly and the lunch was delicious - I am a vegetarian, and it was no problem to accommodate my diet. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys being on the water and has a full day in Naxos.
Such a great trip!! All the equipment provided for swimming worked great, and seeing the sea and surrounding islands in all their beauty was phenomenal. The beach stop at Kato Koufonisi was my personal favourite, the sea was so clear, and the rocks on the beach were so pretty 🥹 The stop at Ano Koufonisi was great, Cafe Sofia was a good shout, the crepes there were awesome. And the Rina cave was so pretty, and the cliff jumping was so thrilling! The BBQ too… absolutely wonderful words cannot describe it 🤤🤤 The salad was beautiful i shed a few tears 🥹 Thanks for blessing my taste buds😊 Anyhow i really recommend this trip for anybody with a day free!!
Departed on time, straight out onto the sea. There are plenty of drinks of all kinds, such as coffee, Fanta, 7 Up, Coke, wine, water... The first stop was swimming in a turquoise bay. Back on board, there were already skewers and Greek salad. Vegetarian passengers are also provided for. We continue to the upper island, where you have a bit of time to swim at the white beach. Then we head to the cave in Rina, which you can only reach by sea unless you climb over the mountains in 95-degree heat..... Bam, anchor up and cool off again in the crystal-clear water. The brave ones jump from the rocks into the water. Now we are already heading towards the home port, but the whole thing with fun, karaoke, and a really nice crew: all in all, a worthwhile excursion!!
The vibes from the crew were great but I wish there had have been more chances to jump off the boat and swim in beautiful locations. Koufounisia is beautiful and there was enough to fill in the 2 hour stop, but I think this was more time on a boat than I had anticipated. I cant fault the crew though!
It was a very pleasant discovery; they are professionals, always with a smile. They treated our 5-year-old daughter like a princess and managed every request of ours. The places are wonderful and the food is excellent😎🥰Kalimera and good work to everyone 🇬🇷🌊
