A partire dalle 09:00 con pick-up a Pristina, viaggio a sud-ovest per visitare il Patriarcato di Peja, patrimonio dell'UNESCO, e il Monastero di Decan, rinomato per la loro architettura e affreschi secolari. Proseguimento per Gjakova, famosa per il suo patrimonio ottomano e per lo storico Vecchio Bazar, dove potrai esplorare strade acciottolate e immergerti nell'autentica vita locale. Patriarcato di Peja costruito nel XIII secolo. E' composto da quattro piccole chiese con bellissimi affreschi. La Chiesa dei Santi Apostoli fu la prima chiesa costruita dall'arcivescovo Arsenije († 1266). Per i suoi valori architettonici e culturali che rappresenta fa parte dell'UNESCO.
Complesso monastico di Decan considerato la più grande chiesa medievale dei Balcani. Contiene le più ampie decorazioni ad affresco splendidamente conservate ed è meritatamente parte dell'UNESCO per la sua importanza nella conservazione del Patrimonio Mondiale. Questo monastero fu costruito dal re Stefan Urosh sepolto nella cappella e da suo figlio Stefan Dushan. Interessante è il fatto che il catholicon abbia sorprendenti somiglianze con una chiesa cattolica romana, il che si spiega con il fatto che il suo architetto era un monaco francescano della città montenegrina di Cattaro, con evidenti influenze da Venezia e Ragusa.
Gjakova che ha un Grand Bazaar ritenuto il più antico del Kosovo noto anche come Carshi, pieno di vecchie case e negozi, un bagno turco o Hamam e la moschea Hadum Aga del XVI secolo che visiteremo. Ritorno a Pristina Nella stessa posizione

Had two tours plus arrival and departure transfers. Everything was excellently organised and the tours were exactly what we wanted. They were also very good value. Visited a good range of historical sights and towns and got a good feel for Kosovo. Arsim was excellent and gave appropriate knowledge as and when needed. He was friendly and very professional.
