It was a wonderful experience. The guide was not very good at accompanying us throughout the journey and explaining what we saw. Guides like this are rare to find. It helped us a lot in the most difficult points of the course. The hike was beautiful: both the first part of climbing on the first island and the second with a nice kayak ride around the second island, we also saw monkeys on a beach.
The tour was really nice. We had something of everything. Our tour guide Jo was mega likeable and accommodating. He has been able to give us a lot of information about the different places. But also our Captain Bao was mega sympathetic. The two made the tour a highlight overall. From climbing into caves, kayaking, the Bubu Island and the monkey island. It was exciting and really great. I recommend it from the heart. Big thank you
We had a great day! All activities from kayaking, cave climbing and sightseeing to the monkey in the mangrove forest were well organized and we had a lot of fun. Jo is a great guide, attentive and knows a lot about the region. Thanks for the day and gladly again!
Tour guide was awesome, great sense of humor! Be ready to climb up some ropes!
The tour started with a transfer from the hotel in a pick-up. Upon arrival at the fishing village you had to pay 40bath for adults and 20bath for children as entry (We knew this before). Then we went to the place Diamond Cave Tour had its boats and restaurant (also fish farm) and boarded a Longtail boat for departure towards the first island. The trip goes through mangrove forest where you can see monkeys, mundkippers and crabs. Once at the first island, the climb begins, do not underestimate the difficulty of this. We are a family with children where the children are 5 and 8 years old, the children managed the first climb with the help of the tour guide. We are otherwise in good physical shape and the children are used to climbing at home, but it was still a challenge. We did not reach the highest point considering the children, but we still got to see the inside of the cave and the view from one place. After climbing down we continued to the next island where we would kayak, we partially paddled around the island and stopped in a cave, halfway through the tour we stopped at a small beach for a cool swim and then returned to the longtail boat. At several places there were monkeys. Water was plentiful and free of charge, at least on our tour. Then we went longtail back to the harbor via the mangrove forest because we once again had the opportunity to see monkeys, the tour guide chose not to lure the monkeys to the boat which we appreciated. Once at the harbor we were served fruit and a light lunch consisting of fried rice. After that we went by transfer with a pick-up back to our hotel. The only negative during the tour was the English of the lucky god, it was not the best and created less misunderstandings at times. It was nothing that spoiled our experience in any way, but had clearly made it easier. The guide was very helpful and nice. Can warmly recommend this half day tour (about 4.5 - 5 hours it took for us) and we were two families in our group with a total of 4 adults and 6 children + guide and "captain"
It was more than expected as we had to climb up a cave with a beautiful view at the top. Afterward we went kayaking and swimming between two islands before finishing the tour with a fried rice. There were also plenty of monkeys so bring some bananas or watermelon. We recommend water shoes with a good grip.
We were lucky as there was only 4 on our tour. It was great from start to finish throughly enjoyed it. Make sure you bring decent footwear for the climb inside skull island. It’s actually quite physically demanding so you need to be reasonably fit and agile. However, our guide Alim was absolutely excellent in helping and reassuring us up and down. The beach were we set off Kayaking was stunning but unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to have a swim. But the kayaking was brilliant and visited monkey cave. Water, soft drink, fruit and a meal were all provided. Overall we were fully satisfied with this trip and would definitely recommend. Great value for money and Alim was outstanding.
Great trip! Relaxing long tail boat ride through the mangroves to open sea. Explored an awesome cave then off to kayak around like stone islands. Back in the boat to return for a tasty lunch. Staff / guide was superb!
Beautiful caves and nature, a good guide and kind staff. The kayaking, swimming and feeding monkeys were a lot of fun. Recommend! 😁
Strongly recommended, the staff are super friendly and helpful. My advice is to bring loads of water/drinks, also for the climbing part fitness is important, the top is almost a 200ft high cliff so the correct footwear is vital. Again, strongly recommend this day out and the half day is the perfect amount in my opinion. Thanks again to the team.
