Il municipio di Kingston fu completato nel 1844, con le sue dimensioni e il suo design che riflettevano lo status di Kingston come capitale della provincia del Canada in quel momento. L'architetto scelto per il progetto nel 1841 fu George Browne, e l'edificio fu ritenuto una delle opere più straordinarie di Browne. L'edificio è stato designato come sito storico nazionale del Canada nel 1961
Il Kingston Public Market è il mercato più antico dell'Ontario e fornisce cibo e senso di comunità ai residenti di Kingston dal 1801.

L'edificio fu costruito nel 1890 come The Chalmers Free Presbyterian Church. Fu ribattezzata Chalmers United Church nel 1925 con la creazione della United Church of Canada. Ha una bella storia di fantasmi!
Con la sua congregazione che risale al 1783, la Cattedrale è associata alla prima parrocchia anglicana organizzata in Ontario. Iniziato nel 1825, St. George's sostituì una struttura più piccola costruita a poca distanza nel 1792. Il nucleo della chiesa esistente fu costruito in pietra su progetto dell'architetto di Kingston Thomas Rogers nel 1825. L'edificio fu notevolmente ampliato nel 1840 con il aggiunta di una navata, una grande torre dell'orologio e un portico d'ingresso costituito da un frontone sorretto da quattro colonne. Completamente distrutta da un incendio nel 1899, la chiesa fu rapidamente ricostruita sotto la direzione di Joseph Power & Son. Nel 1975, la città di Kingston ha designato la chiesa ai sensi dell'Ontario Heritage Act e, nel 1981, l'Ontario Heritage Trust ha assicurato una servitù del patrimonio sull'edificio.

Our family participated in the traditional haunted walk in Kingston. Our guide Wesley was excellent and she was easy to hear and understand. The distance of the walk was just right and provided the chance to see some of the beautiful architecture old Kingston has to see. Overall recommended for a fun evening out.
Amy was our guide - she gave us a great spooky tour of old Kingston. Saw lots of highlights we never would’ve found ourselves. And we actually double booked by mistake and that went out of their way to correct it so we didn’t pay twice. Thanks guys, great tour!
Whesley was amazing. I wasnt sure at first because of how busy the roads were but her storytelling kept me interested and focused. We loved it!

We purchased the 72hour K-Pass. Best for our time here. We were able to book our tour for Friday. Loved the trolley. Not the same as the daytime runs. This was painted black. Richard was our guide, who we'd had as our guide that day as well as Bruce who was our guide of Kingston on Wednesday! What a nice surprise! The tour started with our first ghost!!! Surprise!! The tour guide takes you all over Kingston telling stories of people who have died and souls who are most likely NOT at rest. The tour includes actors portraying stories about individuals who lived and died in Kingston. Historic sites included Fort Henry, Rick wood Asylum and Kingston Penitentiary. I definitely recommend purchasing the Kpass to see all of the sites, museums, and the Ghost tour!!

Great ghost tour in Kingston! Liam was a fantastic guide — fun, engaging, and full of great stories. It was a cold, windy night so definitely dress warm, but totally worth it!
We had a great time! Our guide was wonderful and told us many stories along the way. We saw places we weren’t familiar with and heard stories that were funny, creepy, and just all out interesting. Also a great bit of exercise after a good meal. Would definitely recommend and would do it again at a different site.
We booked this tour last minute and really enjoyed it! Miya was a great guide - told the stories very well to create a sense of intrigue and atmosphere with great theatrical delivery! She was also a great source of local information and was very personable! What a great value for money tour and we would highly recommend!
