Key West Full-Day Ocean Adventure: Kayak, Snorkeling, Vela

This is a fun excursion. Snorkeling, floating in the water at a sandbar and kayaking around a mangrove island are the things we did. We saw a lot of fish while snorkeling. Now the bad part, the provided lunch is not very good. It was deli meats and cheese along with sorta stale bread. My big complaint is no way to sanitize your hands before handling the utensils, so everyone just grabbed stuff with dirty hands. Maybe a hand sanitizer dispenser would be nice. Also, terrible selection of beer on board.

We had an awesome time! Loved the kayak ride around Mule island, snorkeling and a visit to the most beautiful sandbar! Mary, Carli and Andrew were the best! Highly recommend this tour!

Our Sail, Snorkel, and Kayak adventure with Danger Charters was everything we hoped for and more. Brian, Cohen, and Noah were phenomenal guides — knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. From the moment we stepped aboard, they made sure everyone understood the safety basics and felt completely comfortable, no matter their experience level. We loved learning about Key West’s history and the unique ecosystem that makes this area so special. Their passion for the environment and the islands really shines through. One of the unexpected highlights was meeting people from all over the world. The atmosphere on board was relaxed, friendly, and full of good energy, and by the end of the day it felt like we’d shared the experience with new friends. If you’re visiting Key West, this tour is a must. Beautiful water, great company, and guides who truly elevate the experience. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories.

We had a great day out on the water with Danger Charters. The guides were very informative and great with our kids. We all had a fun time snorkeling and kayaking through the mangroves.

A wonderful trip! Brian and Carly were excellent guides and hosts. The boat is big and comfortable. I had a great time snorkeling in the clear water, and saw a spotted eagle ray, some large permit, and lots of tropical fish. We anchored by a sandbar and, while standing chest deep in crystal-clear water, three dolphins swam by -- a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Finally, kayaking by the mangroves was really interesting; thank you Carly for all the fascinating information. Can't wait to do it again next trip.

Our crew today was Carley, Conan, and captain Jack. I know I did not spell their name correctly, but they made sure we were taken care of the entire trip. The drinks were continually offered and the lunch was really good for a day on the water. If you chose this excursion I highly suggest you call the office and ask for their tour, you won’t regret it. I booked this excursion as a birthday present for my wife. We both had a wonderful time with Captain Anna and crew members Morgan and Carly. They were all very attentive and went above and beyond in making sure all aboard had a fantastic time. After our first stop snorkeling, there was still a little time available before lunch and kayaking that Captain Anna stopped at a nearby sandbar so that we could enjoy being in the water a little longer. It was a very pleasant addition that we were not expecting to the day. Lunch and drinks were then served while we sailed to the next destination for kayaking. The kayaking part of the day through the water and around the mangrove island was very nice and informative as our group leader, Carly, explained to us about the ecosystem there. Both my wife and I had a memorable day on the water with excellent and fun shipmates, captain and crew!!

Captain Tony and Morgan were amazing!!!! They were very hospitable from the get go. The food was fantastic, we learned so much about Key West, and had an absolute blast!! I’ve been on many excursions, but this experience was very intimate and super friendly!!! An absolute must do!!!!
