So fun!! The crew was fun and friendly! They are very knowledgeable and clearly love what they do! The ship is nice, they provide snacks and water! No stress and a lot of excitement!
A fun way to view the city! Friendly staff, conveniently located right at the exit from our cruise. Beautiful bald eagles everywhere.
Abagail said 'if leaving a bad review say she was Sheila', well this is a good review so Sheila is off the hook Abagail is going to get all the fun comments. Ok so bad jokes 8/10, leg's 6/10 (she needs to live on that street with 175 stairs she said) but in honesty legs ?/10 because cargo pants weren't telling, super cute girl and then the fun sunglasses came out because we apparently rode on one of the 15 days Alaska doesn't get rain 🤣. Great details about the town and where to look for the cute lumberjacks (ladies appreciated it) and she did a good job covering the topics because on our quiz at the end I think we scored a 95%. Sadly I'm turning 50 which is too old for her, but it was also that I had to be on a boat in 2 hours headed back south. I had a great time riding the duck tour even though we only saw 2 Eagles because of randomness of these beautiful stoopid birds and their desire to hunt inland on my vacation day. Why can't the Eagles be more accommodating?!? 😹 Thanks for the fun ride and letting a creepy fat bald guy flirt with you and suggest Lonely Island "I'm on a boat" don't forget me, I won't forget you 😜
I just had the best experience on the Ketchikan Duck Tour as a wheelchair user! The employees were AWESOME and so helpful, especially Chad! Chad, the bus driver, helped me get on and off the bus and off the Duck. He made this experience possible and seamless for me, which I am beyond appreciative for because I was so nervous about being able to do it! We love Chad!
Awesome narrator, fantastic captain
We had a fabulous time. Our captain Johnathan and narrator Preston were fun, engaging, informative and genuinely nice people. The trip through town was really good and then our time on the water was a blast... probably close to 30 bald eagles flying around and on the rocks nearby. If you have the chance, take this tour and ask for Johnathan and Preston.
We enjoyed the Duck Tour! A little time on land getting to know the Ketchikan and the water part was enjoyable as well. We had a knowledge guide and he pointed out the bald eagles as well. Overall, it was a nice tour.
If you’re on the fence about the Ketchikan Duck Tour… don’t duck the opportunity. 🦆 Tracy and Mike were absolutely fantastic! The scenery was gorgeous, the tour was packed with interesting local history, and it was the perfect excursion for Alaska’s wonderfully unpredictable weather—you stay comfortable whether it’s sunny, raining, or doing both at the same time. Fair warning, though: this tour comes with a serious amount of puns. I mean… an almost fowl amount. If you don’t appreciate dad jokes, this may not be for you. If you do, you’ll be quacking up the entire time. My only recommendation for management: Tracy should be in charge of the microphone mute button. Every time Mike starts winding up for another pun, she should have the authority to hit mute before things get completely out of hand. 😄 It’s clearly the only way to keep the pun levels within legal limits. In all seriousness, Tracy and Mike made an amazing team. Their personalities, humor, and knowledge made the tour one of the highlights of our trip. We’d absolutely do it again… even knowing we’d be subjected to another barrage of duck jokes! 🦆😂 Unfortunately the transfer bus was horrific . The windows were half broken and sprayed water on the inside , several of the seats were broken and by the time we got back to the port I was sitting on the floor through an old bus seat frame . Please fix this !!! Otherwise it was fantastic
The tour was booked very easily through our Silversea cruise. The tour pick-up was from the cruise ship. There is a great working relationship between the 'Duck' captain (Johnathan) and tour guide (Olivia). Plenty of banter and Olivia was brilliant with her guide delivery, very knowledgeable, intelligent and witty. This made the tour fun and enjoyable. The duck started with a land tour before splashing into the water and touring the marina and port area. Wildlife and points of interest were highlighted throughout the event. Good tour.
Olivia was great as well as Capt. John. Weather was beautiful! Really fun but short.
