I was an unforgettable experience for my husband and me.
Great for a hot day because mostly you are indoors. Except for the bus tour line you are out of the sun and seeing cool things.
We loved visiting Kennedy. The whole experience was wonderful. The history of NASA was fascinating and arranged in a fantastic way.
this gives a voucher (not the actual ticket) which needs to be converted into scannable tickets at the ticket counter. Doesn't seem like there is any cost benefit compared to buying at the counter.
I grew up in SW Florida, so I visited KSC several times growing up, but I didn't remember it super well. Last year I went for the first time as an adult and loved it so much I had to upgrade to an annual pass! As everyone else says you CAN'T miss the bus tour. It brings you to Launch complex 39 and the Saturn V/ Apollo centers, but it's also a GREAT way to experience the wildlife on Merritt Island (we saw a giant alligator crossing the pathway for the rocket crawlers!!). There are a few viewfinders on top of the gantry that give you great views of other launchpads and some pretty cool birds in the area. My absolute FAVORITE exhibit to visit is the Shuttle Atlantis building- it starts off with a very cheesy, yet effective, video of past shuttles and ends with a stunning view of the Atlantis herself. There IS a slide that is meant to "simulate" what it's like to be a shuttle landing from outer space and I'm telling you now that the static shocks are worth it to race your friends down the slide. My friend and I went back up several times. If you're a fan of Disney parks style goofy preshow videos you will LOVE the Shuttle Launch Experience narrated by astronaut Charlie Bowden. It's silly, informative, and gets you really invested. I'm warning you now- you may think there's no way that simulator will tip you back as far as it says it will, but it does. It's still worth experiencing at least once! Inside of the Atlantis building, there is a tribute to the final Challenger and Columbia crews that perished in the pursuit of science. I recommend researching the accidents before you go through this exhibit because there is no information on them anywhere at KSC. The exhibit includes personal items from each crew member and in a room off to the side there are pieces of both shuttles. To my knowledge, this is the only place you can publicly view pieces of either shuttle. It's a humbling experience to see Columbia's cockpit windows and the side panel of Challenger, but one that I believe everyone should have. Lastly, I recommend sitting down for the astronaut presentations! They are free and happen twice a day. The KSC website has a calendar of who is visiting each day and after their presentations they do a meet and greet and will sign your items for free. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Fred Gregory on a past trip and he signed my copy of "The New Guys" that I purchased in the Space Shop. They'll still sign items/ answer questions if you're not buying anything though!
Amazing tour and so much good information and fun things. We had no idea it was that awesome! Space is cool!
Our 13 year old Grandson was not sure what to expect when we surprised him with this on a trip together. He was all in and totally engaged as soon as we saw roe get garden on approach. We spent several hours there and all of us came away with awe of the program
Had a great experience at the Kennedy Space Center. Recommend going early to get a good parking spot. And getting in line for the bus tour as soon as you arrive.

Went all out on my first trip... Got the "Fly with an Astronaut" ticket. Got to tour with Commander Ken Cameron with a small group of people. It was amazing and I can't wait to go back! 🤩 🚀
