Il nostro tour storico e culturale a piedi # 1 offre agli ospiti un modo unico per conoscere il cibo e la cultura di Kelowna attraverso un'esperienza locale di tre ore ricca di marmellate. Ascolta le storie che non troverai in nessuna brochure, incontra le persone che rendono questa città così grande e assaggia il cibo / le bevande che hanno portato Kelowna sulla scena culinaria internazionale. Con noi si ottiene il know-how personale, e la comprensione locale, da Andrew (proprietario / guida) che ha iniziato questa attività 5 anni fa. È cresciuto nell'Okanagan e ha lavorato al suo frutteto dei nonni a Oyama. Il tour inizia presso la storica Laurel Packinghouse e si snoda attraverso lo splendido distretto culturale sul lago. Immergiti nel pittoresco lungomare sul lago Okanagan, scopri l'arte locale, i giardini segreti, le cascate e molto altro ancora! Lungo la strada includiamo 7 gusti stuzzicanti e 4 visite di bevande in aziende locali autentiche e uniche (bevande per adulti, analcolici e bambini sono tutti soddisfatti). È qui che ci incontriamo fuori per iniziare il tour. Cerca il nostro cartello con il pannello sandwich e Andrew (alto rosso) in piedi davanti.
Ci fermiamo qui per parlare di alcune peculiari street art di Kelowna.
Camminiamo attraverso lo splendido parco in riva al lago e parliamo del suo impatto su Kelowna negli ultimi 30 anni.
Nei giorni feriali andiamo nel patio sul tetto per scattare foto meravigliose quando il patio è aperto. Dal 15 aprile al 15 ottobre di ogni anno i nostri gruppi possono vedere una vista a 360° del centro di Kelowna.
I giardini Kasugai nascosti prendono il nome dalla città gemella di Kelowna in Giappone. Fornito di Koi, cascate, sculture giapponesi e giardini impeccabili! Tante cose da vedere e imparare qui! Il parco è aperto da metà marzo a metà ottobre.
Splendido parco sul lago dedicato a un famoso sindaco. Qui ascolteremo la storia dell'orso a Kelowna e come è nata la nostra passerella mozzafiato.
Kelowna Yacht Club prepara Gelato fatto in casa per noi in ogni tour mentre ci sediamo in riva al lago in un edificio premiato, con una vista ancora migliore sul lago!
Uno storico edificio in mattoni a due piani è ora il BNA davvero unico! Il proprietario adora il Canada nordoccidentale e The Tragically Hip. Il posto è pieno di birrificio, 10 Pin Bowling Alley, campo da bocce, Vintage Arcade, Burger Bar, Airstream Trailer e molto altro ancora! Una delle tappe preferite dei nostri ospiti!
La nostra gemma nascosta in tour! Spesso dobbiamo trascinare le persone fuori da questa casa da tè a foglie sciolte, poiché l'aroma, le vibrazioni e la tranquillità prendono il sopravvento! Un posto che non dimenticherai presto e che probabilmente tornerai ancora e ancora! Come noi :)
Sprout è una panetteria artigianale locale a conduzione familiare. Situato all'interno dello storico e vivace quartiere culturale di Kelowna. I proprietari Pete e Ava hanno aperto le porte nell'agosto del 2018, tre settimane dopo si sono sposati e hanno accolto amici e parenti per festeggiare nello spazio della panetteria appena terminato. Da lì in poi non si è più potuto tornare indietro! Sprout è rapidamente diventato un centro comunitario che ha riunito le persone e si è concentrato su una cosa: buon cibo e caffè. Offrono un'ampia varietà di cibi e prodotti da forno! Sprout mira a mostrare l'incredibile abbondanza naturale dell'Okanagan. Mentre collaboro con agricoltori e fornitori per portare i sapori locali alla comunità. Tutti i pani sono realizzati con farine biologiche certificate. Tra gli altri benefici per la salute, le pratiche di agricoltura biologica richiedono un’attenta rotazione delle colture e garantiscono una maggiore biodiversità per la terra. Quando i miei ospiti vengono in visita, adorano poter osservare i panettieri al lavoro, l'atmosfera accogliente e, naturalmente, il cibo e il caffè eccezionali!
Una tappa preferita in ogni tour! La sosta include pizza cotta a legna da un forno a forma di mela di Napoli, Italia. Il Caffè è di proprietà di Luigi Coccaro e ha uno speakeasy nascosto e patio giardino che mostriamo anche agli ospiti :)
Gli ospiti vengono viziati qui dallo chef e proprietario Izzy che ha una versione moderna della cucina di sua madre e sua nonna direttamente da Città del Messico! Porta il tuo appetito e ama più margarita freschi!

Great food tour highlighting top end unique eateries. Highly interactive host with a wealth of food and historical knowledge on the city! Great fun and off the beaten path - highly recommended!!
Andrew was a fantastic host and tour guide! I’ve lived in Kelowna almost 20 years and learned lots and discovered new spots. Great value for the amount of food and drinks you get - plus reserved tables at popular spots. Highly recommend for locals or visitors!

Andrew is a charismatic host, passionate about sharing some of the best food spots Kelowna has to offer. The stops were lovely and the food delicious and diverse. You also got a chance to explore Kelowna’s lovely cultural district. As a celiac, I greatly appreciated the availability of gluten free options.

Amazing!!!!!! Andrew is absolutely wonderful. The tour was informative and fun. The food options and portions were of the highest quality, variety, and portion. The drinks are fantastic. Every detail of the tour we enjoyed. So many places we never would have found on our own. We took our 15 month along with us and she enjoyed it as well. Andrew was able to accommodate our food allergies at every location. The gluten free options were delicious. Very well organized.

Andrew, our guide, was wonderful as he led us around Kelowna’s cultural district and the many different places to get some delicious food and drinks. His knowledge of the different places and the area was outstanding and made the tour very enjoyable and worthwhile. Highly, highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic experience on our walking food tour with Andrew, a true local “know it all” in the best possible way. His passion and deep knowledge of Kelowna really brought the city to life in such an engaging and entertaining way. We especially enjoyed the diversity of foods we were able to try, along with the stories behind each dish and the backgrounds of the restaurant owners. It added so much depth to the experience and made every stop feel meaningful rather than just a tasting. It was also greatly appreciated that food allergies were thoughtfully accommodated, allowing everyone in our group to fully enjoy the experience without concern. Andrew was incredibly personable, and it was clear this was reflected everywhere we went. The warm greetings he received from restaurant owners and even people we passed along the way spoke volumes about the strong relationships he has built in the community. His love for Kelowna was very evident throughout the tour—and just as clearly, that enthusiasm is reciprocated by the people and places that make the city so special. A wonderful experience from start to finish and highly recommended.
