Cosa vedere sulla strada per Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)- Kazbegi (dal 2007 ribattezzata Stepantsminda) è il primo grande insediamento sul lato georgiano dell'autostrada militare georgiana. Le attrazioni di Kazbegi includono monumenti naturali e architettonici che vale la pena vedere. Il vecchio monte Kazbek è in realtà un vulcano spento che ha eruttato l'ultima volta 2,5 mila anni fa. La chiesa Gergeti, sullo sfondo di Kazbeg, non è solo una vista da una cartolina, è uno spettacolo senza il quale è impossibile dire che una persona sia stata in Georgia. Serbatoio di Zhinvali - Nonostante il fatto che la parola "serbatoio" possa creare un'associazione di un territorio con un gran numero di serbatoi di ferro per l'acqua, tutto è esattamente l'opposto. Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) - Così spesso descritto nelle opere poetiche e prosaiche di vari scrittori, Kazbek è il secondo punto più alto della Georgia dopo lo "Shkhara". È unico e il fatto che il territorio di Stepantsminda sia un tempio chiamato "Gergeti". Fu costruito nel XIV secolo. La costruzione del tempio merita un'attenzione speciale, perché tutti i materiali sono stati sollevati manualmente a un'altezza enorme.

Interesting tour. Good guide. Only pity is you get cramped into a minibus with as many seats as possible so no legroom at all. Would have booked different operator had I known, even if it came at an extra cost given the time you spend in the bus.
It was a good experience and the group were nice! Thanks Alex for arranging everything! We had free time to walk around and take photos and the tour guide was trying so hard to make the atmosphere positive and relaxing.

We spent eight days of tour in central and eastern Georgia with Aleko Makharadze. We drove a couple thousand kilometers with a beautiful interlocutor, learning people, history, nature! Aleko's awareness, mobility, patience, openness and friendliness are striking! Glad to have placed our full trust in his choice of places, cities, museums and attractions visited. And the smiles and laughter from his stories and anecdotes never left us. When we came to this country, we made a friend. We will visit the western and southern part of Georgia with him and only him, God willing, the next time we arrive. We wish Aleko well, good luck in his difficult business and, of course, generous guests! With respect and a deep Slavic bow, not a large group of Belarusians...

The trip was well-organized and very interesting. We visited many places and always has enough time to see everything, make photos, etc. The guide was amazing. She has a huge konwledge about Georgia and shared with us many interesting facts. Very recommended!! ;)
