Our guide Nika was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Georgia. He answered questions all the time and nothing was too much trouble. A very good driver along some challenging routes. We felt very safe with him. The scenery is beautiful and awesome.
A very beautiful discovery in the Greater Caucasus. Our private guide Eto is wonderful. I recommend this excursion.
The tour guide (Nika) was such an awesome and professional, knowledgeable and able to disclose the fact and fiction of the legends and history. We were picked up from our hotel then straight to the reservoir which was the first sight to enjoy, later to Amauri fortress and witnessed the restoration of some of the monastery’s inner walls then some honey tasting on the way (we bought the raspberry and chestnut), the friendship monument is a must, Nika taught us the meaning behind all the murals and took some professional shots for us. Our main stop I’d say was the Gergeti Trinity on a hilltop, amazing views, quite cold all over so a jacket is helpful. The tour is a must.
Visiting Gudauri and Kazbegi is a 100% must!! The tour was above all my expectations because of the scenic beauty, rich history and the beautiful Caucasus Mountains. Our tour guide, Eto, was an absolute sweetheart. She knew all historic detail about the places we stopped at, was very talkative (thank god), and her driving was so good. Anyone coming to Georgia should definitely book his tour!
I had Tamara who was very personable and told me a lot about Georgia from someone living there. I do think there may had been a little bit of a mix up because she said the waterfall hike was not included, but that was the whole reason for me choosing this tour, but that may be because she thought I intended to hike up the mountain to Gergeti Trinity Church with her so maybe she felt like that would take up the hiking time. But she later was able to affirm that the waterfall hike was part of the trip. One thing to note, the only meal break is at the end of the tour the ' Rooms Kazbegi'. I mentioned that I was hungry and after some confusion she took me to Maisi a farm to table restaurant in Kazbegi that was really nice if hidden. I'm not sure I would have been able to find the restaurant on my own. It was nice to have some company while eating as a solo traveler and she was able to point out some of the regional dishes to get. What I really appreciated and felt bad about, the route to the waterfall had a rock slide, so there was really terrible traffic. But she was willing to wait it out and see if the traffic would clear up so we could go to the hike. Which definitely added to her commute home. She's definitely a fast hiker, I work a desk job so I would often see her up ahead. And she had to sit through traffic back before dropping me off at my hotel in Kazbegi.
We had a great time with our guide Luka. He showed us many interesting spots and great views. A great way to experience the mountains from Tbilisi on a day trip.
We had a great tour to kazbegi with Tamara as our guide. She was a really good driver along challenging roads and a friendly and enthusiastic guide. We would recommend this trip.
Dimi our guide was fantastic- he was extremely knowledgeable about all things Georgian- history, architecture, food and culture. We saw some breathtaking sights across the days journey and learned so much more about Tblisi and Georgia that enhanced our overall trip and appreciation of the country
Tremendous tour, Carlo was great on the phone (whatsapp) and Tamara was my guide and driver. She worked very hard to everything into a full day. She was friendly, knowledgeable and offered help whenever possible. The lunch was traditional, excellent Georgian food as well. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend them highly enough 🫶🏻
Our guide Nico was amazing and his love for his country infectious. The roads are challenging and Nico’s driving and the suitability of the vehicle were much appreciated. Nico assisted us to confidently negotiate the sites on this tour and was very helpful and respectful at all times. The sites speak for themselves but we highly recommend Nico as an experienced guide to help you better understand what you’re seeing and to negotiate access safely. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to step out of the city and see what else Georgia has to offer. Thanks for a great trip Nico!
