Marcio was great to work with - he contacted me after booking to make sure we knew where to go and how to prepare. There is private parking area up the hill from the secluded beach where we launched from. My wife and I were lucky to be the only booking in our time slot, so we had the guide (Vitor) to ourselves! Vitor tailored the experience to our skill level and took us safely into some exciting cave areas that we would not have done by ourselves. He took time to explain each location and gave clear instructions on how to navigate the technical parts. The team took pictures of us (with our permission) throughout the tour and sent them to us later the same day. We were able to just relax and let Vitor lead us on a great outing. We are so glad we booked with Benegil Kayak, as the quality of the experience was better than what we would have got at another tour operator.

We had a wonderful time exploring Benagil Cave and the surrounding coastline with our guides. We felt safe throughout, and the kayaking and SUP made it even more fun. Photos are included, they are genuinely great, guides put real effort into making them look good. You could tell our guides genuinely love what they do, it’s clear the ocean is their life, and they made us fall a little in love with it too. And as a bonus, there’s a friendly dog hanging around the equipment area, this is a nice little touch that made the spot feel even more welcoming.

I came here from Lagos based on reviews, and I’m so glad I found this company. There was a stunning, secluded beach nestled between the rocks—just for us. We set off on our kayak tour from there; it was just us and our guide—offering an intimate, personalized experience—and we visited plenty of amazing caves along the way. Highly recommended!

The small group size made the experience feel personal and relaxed, and our guide was absolutely amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe throughout the trip. He also took fantastic photos that perfectly captured the beauty of the coastline and caves, so we could enjoy the experience without worrying about taking pictures ourselves. Simply do it, it is worth it, does not require much physically, the instructors are attentive and add a lot to the experience that by itself is phenomenal, the fruits are beautiful and with exclusive access, very cool and unique.

We had a wonderful experience paddle boarding through the beautiful Benagil caves! We ended up being the only 2 on our 11am SUP tour which was wonderful and meant we could set the pace. Both of us had some experience paddle boarding but our guide was really great about walking us through the different options for how to use the paddle boards so we could alternate between standing, kneeling and sitting. We also were provided with a small dry bag if we needed it and our guide took pictures and videos throughout our tour so we didn’t have to risk our cell phones :)

I fully recommend kayak sup for its professionalism and kindness. The team is top-notch, not at all like the tour operators with companies of 15 kayaks, not focused on performance but rather on sharing, 4 kayaks for a unique moment, with photo taking and good laughter. A fantastic experience. The company has private parking and, at the end of the activity, they had a shower, which is greatly appreciated. Additionally, the departure takes place from a cove that is practically inaccessible by any other means, making the experience even more special. Marcio was very attentive at all times and took a lot of photos during the activity. The explanations were clear and very comprehensive, and safety was very well managed from start to finish, allowing access to all the caves. Without a doubt, a highly recommended activity and a very professional company!!!
