Durante la nostra stagione invernale, (da fine novembre ad aprile) i nostri tour pomeridiani non offrono snorkeling. Usiamo quel tempo per osservare le balene e il tramonto. Unisciti a noi per un fantastico tour di 5 ore di snorkeling e pranzo, sulla mozzafiato NaPali Coast insieme! Questo luogo ha un immenso significato storico ed è sede di una varietà di vita marina, tra cui i delfini. La nostra famiglia nativa co, fa parte della comunità Waimea da 200 anni, dove partiamo per la costa di NaPali, la storia delle nostre famiglie è oltre l'immaginabile dai libri di storia essendo i primi a navigare stranieri sulle canoe a vela a doppio scafo della nostra famiglia per la costa di NaPali dalla storia documentata. Siamo entusiasti di condividere la nostra ricca storia e il patrimonio con voi. Condividere le proprie storie e la propria cultura per creare un’esperienza davvero memorabile. Si prega di scegliere tra i nostri quattro confortevoli catamarani, che offrono la stessa fantastica esperienza di tour. Tempo permettendo, esploreremo diverse grotte marine e faremo snorkeling in acque incontaminate.
Noto anche come il Grand Canyon del Pacifico, questo pittoresco parco statale domina il colorato Waimea Canyon, che si estende per oltre 22 chilometri ed è profondo più di 1.100 metri.

- GRAVIDANZA Facciamo eccezioni per le gravidanze solo durante i mesi estivi (giugno, luglio e agosto ) quando le condizioni dell'oceano sono più calme. Le donne incinte possono partecipare a questo tour fino a 22 settimane di gestazione, insieme all'approvazione dei loro medici. Una nota medica deve essere presentata da un medico, direttamente a Makana Charters VIA e-mail o fax e deve essere approvata dalla direzione prima di prenotare. Vi preghiamo di contattarci per prenotare una volta che la vostra nota è stata inviata.

Wow! Amazing! Best part of our trip! The English language does not have the right words to describe how wonderful this boat experience was. The knowledge of Captain Mike and his crew were second to none; combine that with his storytelling, his passion, his love, and his connection to the land, and you have core memories unlocked! You HAVE to take the leap and embark on this journey. Captain Mike and crew tell tales of pride and love bringing tears to one’s eyes. These men know the area thereby creating an opportunity for an unforgettable adventure!
Truly an amazing experience. Fantastic crew, beautiful views, and lots of wildlife! 100% worth the money and a must do on Kauai!
We had an amazing experience with Makana Charters on their Na Pali Coast Line boat tour. From the very beginning, the crew was super friendly and well organized. They provided clear instructions on where to park, what to bring, and exactly what to expect from the tour, which made everything very easy. Our captain did a fantastic job making sure we got great views of the coast, including several caves from up close and even from inside. We were on the Amelia K, and one thing the captain mentioned was that this boat generally has fewer issues with motion sickness. We had taken medication just in case, but thankfully we had zero issues throughout the entire cruise, and it seemed like the other passengers had none too. The boat was very clean, and the snorkeling was a highlight. The gear provided was great, and the crew was vigilant about keeping an eye on everyone in the water, which made us feel very safe. Overall, highly recommended! One small tip: on the afternoon tour, the sandwiches are served a little later, so I’d suggest having a good lunch beforehand.
Our tour guides, Jasmine, Lily and Mike were excellent. Good information by people that knew the island history and land. The crew were very efficient but also very friendly and engaging. We loved the trip!
This tour was spectacular and I can see why it’s the #1 thing to do on Kauai. The crew were amazing and the sights something to behold. What a great day.
If you’re looking for postcard photos and a fun, energetic crew this excursion is for you. The guides narrated through various locations of interest as we traveled to and through the Nāpali coast. The crew was a lot of fun - this would be the perfect outing for 20- or 30-something friends looking to jump off a boat into the ocean (seriously). Snorkeling location was too cloudy for good viewing, don’t do this trip if that’s all you’re looking for. The views of the coast are picturesque. The ship captain expertly steered us through choppy waters and caves alike.
This was an amazing flight with beautiful views our funny, knowledgeable pilot Koa was wonderful, it was really one of the best moments we had on our trip to Hawai’i.
