Kathmandu Durbar Square, costruita nel XVI secolo, era un palazzo reale delle dinastie Malla e Shan. A sud vedrai Basantapur Durbar Square ea nord Basantapur Durbar. A ovest ci sono templi di dei e dee. A Kathmandu Durbar Square, visiterai il tempio di Kal Bhairav, il tempio di Taleju, Kumari Bahal, il tempio di Swet Bhirav, il tempio di Akash Bhirav e il tempio di Shiv-Parvati, solo per citarne alcuni. Il tempio di Swayambhunath, noto anche come tempio delle scimmie, si trova a nord-ovest della valle di Kathmandu. I cinque elementi di terra, acqua, spazio, fuoco e aria sono incisi nell'architettura. Quando entri dai cancelli, vedrai Boudhnanath Stupa circondato da un muro a 16 lati. Intorno allo stupa, vedrai dei monaci che pregano. Ci sono monasteri situati vicino allo stupa, come il monastero di Shechen. Allo stesso modo, l'area è costituita da ampie aree con caffè e ristoranti. I turisti adorano visitare i ristoranti e godersi la pace mentre si affaccia direttamente sul Boudhanath Stupa. Il tempio di Pashupatinath è un sacro tempio indù situato sulle rive del fiume Bagmati. Questo è il tempio più grande del Nepal. Il tempio di Pashupatinath è una miscela di significato culturale e spirituale. Consiste di 492 templi, 15 santuari di Lord Shiva e 12 Jyotirlinga (santuari fallici), che la tua guida ti porterà. I had an amazing experience with Himalayan adventures. Had a small group of 3 but we all got along well and were lead by an amazing guide in Bibek. He made the experience even better than it would have been. I would recommend requesting Bibek for any trek in Nepal. I will be coming back.

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Raj was outstanding. Our 14-day itinerary balanced scenery and safety: Jagat–Taal, Chame, Pisang (upper route via Ghyaru/Ngawal), acclimatization in Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, then an early, steady push over Thorong La (5,416 m) to Muktinath and onward to Jomsom/Pokhara. Raj set a calm, consistent pace, reminded us to hydrate, and did daily altitude checks (sleep, appetite, headache scale). He adjusted breaks and grouping so everyone felt comfortable. Logistics were smooth—clean teahouses, hot drinks at the right moments, reliable transport, and clear Plan B when weather threatened flights. Beyond guiding, Raj shared stories that made the route feel alive. If you value thoughtful pacing, solid risk management, and warm local insight, Raj is an excellent choice for ACT. I finished with happy legs, a full camera roll, and total peace of mind.

We had such an incredible experience with our guide Raj. His knowledge of the trek and the surrounding areas was amazing and his attention to details along the way made the trip so enjoyable.
