Siamo la compagnia di osservazione delle balene originale e più longeva a Kalbarri e operiamo tour di osservazione delle balene dal 1992. Kalbarri ha il privilegio di visite stagionali della maestosa megattera e occasionalmente della balena franca australe. Cominciano a migrare oltre Kalbarri a partire da giugno di ogni anno, dall'oceano meridionale ricco di cibo ai terreni di riproduzione nelle calde acque settentrionali. Le balene vengono viste tornare a sud intorno ad agosto lungo il percorso ai mari più freddi per crescere e maturare. Seguendo la piattaforma continentale, abbracciano la costa mentre viaggiano attraverso le calde acque dell'Oceano Indiano. Queste maestose creature giocano, si divertono e si crogiolano nelle acque incontaminate della baia di Gantheaume durante la loro rotta migratoria lungo la costa dell'Australia occidentale. Ogni escursione di osservazione delle balene è un'opportunità per avvicinarsi a questi giganti gentili, assistendo a un fenomeno unico proprio alle porte di Kalbarri. We had a fantastic experience on this tour. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable from the start. Seeing the whales up close was absolutely incredible — such a special moment. The guide shared great insights without overdoing it, which made it both relaxing and interesting. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Kalbarri.
Very informative skipper. Knowledgeable regarding the location of whales. Gave plenty of time for photo opportunities. Everyone on board seemed to have a good time
We had the most magical day out whale watching from Kalbarri. We saw so many whales playing around heading south down the coast. The weather was perfect, if you’re up this way, be sure to check them out.
We had a great morning and the staff were friendly Between dolphins and whales, we had lots to see I recommend it!
Sensational. So worthwhile. We were guide to these beautiful whales & saw dolphins as well. Such an amazing sight to see.
I do recommend this trip we were up close to the whales and a calf and spent the majority of the the time with the whales Crew were very knowledgeable No food or drink supplied but byo
Take your drinks and food as nothing supplied. It’s only 2.5 hours which is the perfect amount of time to see whales and head back in.
The crew went above and beyond from the booking process and throughout the trip, we experienced far more than we could’ve hoped for and they definitely didn’t rush the experience, the captains knowledge and interaction with the audience was excellent
Aydan and Sam were brilliant hosts. They were both friendly and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to see some humpbacks. We got to see some beautiful scenery and taken to see some surfers. Spectacular day out, will definitely do it when we are back in Kalbarri!!
Whale Watching tour was unfortunately cancelled due to unfavourable weather, so was offered a Coastal cruise the previous evening as compensation. This cruise was fine & quite interesting with the captain pointing out places of interest along the coast, but unfortunately we didn't see what we came to see i.e. whales. This is not the fault of the Cruise Company, it was just unfortunate the sea conditions were unsafe.
