Visitando la moschea con tre porte e la Medina e le sue strade strette e mercati dal 9 dicembre 1988, la Medina è sulla lista del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO rispondendo a cinque dei sei criteri di valutazione.
Arrivo a El Djem, una visita al Colosseo romano, fondato nel terzo secolo dC e classificato Patrimonio Mondiale nel 1972, può ospitare 30000 spettatori, terzo nel mondo romano dopo le dimensioni di Roma e quello di Capua, l'anfiteatro di El Djem e il monumento romano più imponente in Africa.
Visita del museo archeologico di El Jem, installato in una villa romana ricostruita, dove possiamo scoprire un'importante collezione di mosaici romani, che copre un periodo che va dall'XI secolo al V secolo, statue, statuette in terracotta, fiale profumo e molte altre vetrerie.
Arrivo a Monastir, passaggio di fronte al luogo di nascita di Habib Bourguiba, primo presidente della Repubblica tunisina, visita al mausoleo di Bourguiba e tempo libero per visitare il ribat e il porto turistico.

Fantastic day out! Our guide was excellent – full of historical knowledge and interesting facts. The tour was perfectly flexible, allowing us to take short breaks when needed as we were traveling with our older parents.
