We made a great day trip to the Jomblang Cave and the Pindul Cave. Both caves are absolutely worth a visit: the descent and the impressive beam of light in Jomblang were unforgettable, and the trip through Pindul Cave was a relaxing and fun experience. Our driver, Mas Argus of Nirvana Tours, made the day extra pleasant. He drove safely, was friendly and took good care of us along the way. He took our wishes into account, gave helpful tips and made sure we felt comfortable all day. All in all a perfectly organized day trip that we can definitely recommend!
I highly recommend this tour. Both activities (Jomblang and Pindul) were very exciting and fun. The driver/guide, Topik, was fantastic as well. He was punctual, courteous, and thoughtful. He provided headlamps which helped a lot at Jomblang. I saw many others didnt get one and had to use their phone’s light. He also had extra waterproof pouches for cell phones for us to use. The activity guides at both facilities were wonderful too.

We had such a fun day with our Driver and Guide Agus. Repelling down into the cave was a unique experience, and our driver made sure that we had headlamps which no one else had so we were better prepared than everyone else. Then at the rafting portion, he had waterproof bags for our cell phone so that we could still take photos and videos while on the water. That was great attention to detail, thank you!
If you’re reading this, then you probably already know that the caves are worth the visit. Our driver/guide Johan made it even better than expected. The prompt pickup, the clear communication, the photos he took and share with us (including a montage he did whilst we were in the cave), the headlamps (you can do the cave without, but having them make photos of others so so much better), the extras at breakfast (not all tours had these), the phone covers for when on the river), the bags for wet clothes after tubing. All this on top of him being a genuinely courteous and professional operator.
