This is an outstanding tour. I visit Buenos Aires frequently, but this is really a tour that takes you to places very typical and different to the regular tours. Elisa is very knowledge of the history, architecture and art of Buenos Aires. You will end the tour enriched visually and with knowledge not shared in the regular tours.
Thank You for Such a Wonderful Review! I am so pleased that, even as a frequent visitor to Buenos Aires, you found this experience to be distinct and enriching. It is always my goal to offer a perspective that goes beyond the standard sights, focusing on the unique architecture and art that define our typical neighborhoods. Thank you for your kind words about the visual and historical depth of the tour. It was a pleasure to share these "jewels" with you!
The title is a great description. It was great to see & experience less ‘touristy’ areas. The guide was great. She had lots of history and knowledge of the city, architecture and art culture.
Thank You for Your Great Review! I’m so glad the title lived up to your expectations! It is always a pleasure to show guests the less "touristy" side of Buenos Aires and to dive into the rich layers of our city's architecture and art culture. Thank you for choosing this experience and for your kind words about my knowledge of these hidden gems.
We'd taken and were powerfully moved by Elisa's In the Footsteps of Dictatorship tour, and decided to sign up as well, to this tour, which is a more general tourist tour explaining local history, and looking at some really cool institutions and neighborhoods. Definitely worthwhile. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Footsteps of Dictatorship tour, but glad we ended up doing both as Elisa is super knowledgeable about the country's history, art, politics and all other aspects.
Thank You for Joining Me for Both Tours! It was such a pleasure to see you again and to share a different side of Buenos Aires with you. I’m so glad you found the "Jewels Off the Beaten Path" tour to be a worthwhile follow-up and that you enjoyed exploring the local art, neighborhoods, etc. I truly appreciate your repeat visit and your thoughtful recommendation!
Everything about this tour was perfect. Elisa was so considerate about what you would like to get from the tour and she made sure you missed nothing. Elisa is extremely knowledgeable about the areas we went to and shared so much of the backgrounds of places and people that left you feeling very informed. I would highly recommend doing this walking tour with Elisa.
Thank You for Your Kind Words! It was a true pleasure to guide you! I’m so glad that you felt fully informed and that we were able to tailor the tour to exactly what you wanted to discover. I believe the magic of these "off the beaten path" locations lies in the stories of the people and places that define them, and I’m thrilled that these details made your experience so complete. I truly appreciate your recommendation and your curiosity!
Elisa was knowledgeable, personable and very informative. Really liked the off-the-beaten-track tour of Buenos Aires.
Thank you so much for the lovely review! I’m thrilled that you enjoyed exploring a side of Buenos Aires that many travelers don’t get to see. It was a pleasure to share the city's deeper stories with you, and I’m glad I could provide an informative and engaging experience. I truly enjoy taking guests off the beaten track to provide a more authentic and personal perspective of our history.
We took this tour on our first day in Buenos Aires, and I'm so glad that we started off this way. Elisa has an amazing ability to tailor her wealth of local, historical and architectural knowledge to her audience, and was endlessly patient with our many questions. We absolutely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to learn more about the people and places who shaped Buenos Aires through an unexpected lens.
I want travelers to discover a different side of Buenos Aires, a more authentic one. Thank you very much for the nice review of the Jewels Off the Beaten Path tour!
This was a WONDERFUL tour and absolutely a great highlight of my time in BA. Elisa showed us the city through her eyes, architecture, art, history, culture, tango, all while using her own unique humour and personal flair. What I liked about this tour so much is that is was real and unique, not a standard tour you can find anywhere, this was something very special and personal. You can feel the care and effort that Elisa puts into the tour as she shows you her hometown. If you want to understand more about BA, see things you wouldn't normally and have a more local experience - don't miss this tour! Absolutely the best and such a delightful way to spend an afternoon in BA :) Thank you so much Elisa!!!
It was a great afternoon to do some walking. I always do small groups so travelers can get the personal attention that can only be achieved in a small tour group. I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks again for joining me. I will be happy to have you on the other tours, too!
Elisa is an absolute joy. She is smart, friendly, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable about Buenos Aires and Argentina. This was our second time doing a tour with Elisa and we will surely do it again. If you want to get out of the tourist traps and really see BA, you can’t do better. Enjoy!
I always recommend travelers who are seeking out Off the Beaten Track locations, and are looking to experience the real Buenos Aires to take at least two of my walking tours. Thanks for such a good review!
The "Off the Beaten Path" tours are by far the best ways to learn about and explore Buenos Aires. We signed up for 2 of Elisa's tours, and when we return we will sign up for any tour that she offers. In addition to her expert knowledge of the local culture and history, Elisa's personable demeanor made the experience very memorable.
Thank you so much for that lovely review! I really appreciate it! I hope that next time you have enough time to discover the hidden gems of Caballito Neighborhood and join me on my BA Off the Beaten Track – Caballito through the Ages tour.
Eliza is very knowledgeable about her Country and her English is muy bien! She took us to places we would have never know about as tourists, she explained the history, culture and importance. We enjoyed the conversation and highly recommend all her tours!
I appreciate curious tourists who value what Buenos Aires offers out of the beaten path. It was a pleasure to have met you. Thanks for the lovely review!
