Jet Ski individuale a Playa Chica

The venue was easy to find at Playa Chica. We were greeted by friendly staff. Personal belongings can be left with staff whilst you are out in the sea. You are taken out to the Jet Skis in a speed boat where staff explain all the dos and don’t. Great time racing around the triangle of markers. 20 mins seemed like just the right amount of time.

Jet Ski, one per individual, 20 mins going as fast or slow as you like, was long enough, excellent activity, fun, well organised and safe.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Professional, friendly and safe set up. My husband and I did jet skiing, paracending and banana boat. We had a great time. Book directly with the company not through ticket venders for better price. They took photos which they down loaded on our phone.

Easy to book online, and a fair price compared to similar places we've visited in the past. The process for getting us all out to sea and boarded on the jetskis was very easy and efficient. We chose the 20 mins option which was just comfortable enough for us. You basically go round in a large circle, out to sea and back - going out against the waves was bumpy going, but heading back you could go full throttle! All skis need to stay 100m apart, and your engine will cut out for safety if that distance is breached. All in all, a fun time. If you wear a hat, make sure it's tied on tight!

Brilliant Jet ski experience! Loved that we were left to go round the ‘track’ as we pleased. Very efficient process in booking online then at the kiosk getting life jackets and locker, then boat out to the water - all so quick and on time. No waiting about in the hot sun. The photos were brilliant! Great price at €20 for our pics directly to my iPhone. Again, so efficient and everyone involved super friendly. Only point to improve, I would say, is that the accelerating on the jet skis is a little tricky (have to build up the momentum slowly) and could be explained more at the start. Very good experience, and great treatment of the workers, was my first time and they were very attentive to me for my fear of falling, Latins I assure you that nothing would happen and so it was, Great Pro and excellent person as I assisted in the crazzy ufo with him and the same, very attentive every time asking if we were okay. My husband and son-in-law had a fantastic time this morning on the jet ski’s. What a brilliant experience. The staff down at Playa Chica are all great. Certainly recommend this place to anyone looking at trying them out 🙂

I would like to have given these guys a higher rating because it does look like a decent business but I paid a lot of money and don't consider I got value for it. They said they never had any other complaints about the same issue I describe below but if you read reviews on Google you will see that they do. Ultimately they did offer to give us some more time but we declined as had other things to move on to. We took out jet skis on 2/11/23 and paid over 200 euro for 40 mins. They don't tell you in advance that they have a GPS speed control system on the skis that is flawed and doesn't work properly. You spend half the time on the course drifting about with the engine idling. This is supposed to prevent the jet skis running at high speed within 50 mtrs of each other but reality is the GPS doesn't refresh its positioning anywhere near quickly enough and you can be 100 metres or more away from other people and still your throttle doesn't work and you are left drifting about in the ocean bobbing about like a cork. You are taken to a rectangular course marked out by 4 yellow buoys. Each leg of the course is well over 100mtrs long. For the first part of our session there was only two of us out on the course often on different legs of the course but for large amounts of time the throttle response on the jets was zero!!!They will say they don't care about your complaint because its a safety issue. I get that and am all for professional management of safety but please be consistent then!! If you aim to be hot on safety please give a proper briefing at the start instead of rushing everyone out to the course. I wasn't even briefed on the controls and had to ask them to be clear!!!! They should make sure people know what to do in all circumstances such as falling off or a breakdown. For a large amount on time I was on their Jet Ski I thought it had broken down or had a fuel problem as it just didn't respond. Make sure people understand about the GPS system and how it works. The 50 mtr thing is clearly flawed as well. I had another user passing by me within 50 Mtrs at full speed several times. Your are a long way of shore and you will only see the operators when they come back at the end of the session when they will shout at you for not coming in quickly enough despite the throttle on your jet now working!!. We were left feeling taken advantage of. At the end I complained and did not feel they where taking me seriously at all. Would I use again? Probably not and if their response to my review is similar to how they have responded to other reviews I have read it will probably miss the point completely. In stead of finding fault with my review they should spend the time making the GPS system work properly. Its a good idea in principle but flawed in practice.

I was delighted to find I could do this experience solo. My first time doing it alone so I was a bit nervous but the guys were great and made me feel at ease. I felt very safe and i thoroughly enjoyed the experience I will book it again next time I'm back there
