Itinerario
Dopo l'hotel, prosegui in auto per Gerusalemme per circa un'ora e inizia un piacevole tour a piedi nell'affascinante città vecchia, attraverso i punti salienti del quartiere armeno, il quartiere musulmano, il quartiere ebraico e il quartiere cristiano. Impareremo a conoscere ebraismo, cristianesimo e islam. Visiteremo lo "Shuk" noto come "Suk" - il Bazar locale e visiteremo il Cardo - l'antica strada romana e bizantina. Visita il luogo più santo per il popolo ebraico, il "Kotel", il muro occidentale noto come Muro del pianto, dove possiamo scrivere un desiderio su un pezzo di carta e incollarlo nelle fessure del muro. Trascura l'area in cui si trova il Monte del Tempio. Proseguimento per il quartiere cristiano per visitare il luogo più santo del mondo - la Chiesa del Santo Sepolcro - dove visiteremo l'ultima stazione della croce della Via Dolorosa. Vedremo il Golgota dove Gesù fu crocifisso e vedremo la struttura di Edikula, la posizione della tomba dove Gesù fu sepolto e resuscitato. Visita il quartiere musulmano per vedere uno dei luoghi più santi per il popolo musulmano: la Cupola della Roccia e la Moschea Al Aqsa e conoscere la storia islamica di quei siti. Rientro in hotel.

Our tour of Jerusalem with Avi was one of a kind. We took a walk through different parts of Jerusalem the day before Passover and visited the holy sites of many different religions. Along the way, we stopped to get a quick bite, drink a coffee, and taste some local specialties. Our tour guide Avi was very knowledgable and provided us with historical insights that allowed us to understand the city in all of its complexities and contradictions. We were in a small group, so it was much easier to coordinate what we wanted to and when we wanted to do it. This allowed for ample shopping time and a smooth, relaxed pace. We saw all the important stops without feeling rushed, and Avi even helped us locate different shops where we wanted to buy specific items or find some gifts to bring back home to family and friends. All in all, a highly memorable and recommended experience!

If you really want to see the holy city in great details, this is the way to do it. I just finished the tour with three participants and walked the walk. Excellent tour guide Arora(?) and saw many places the big groups wouldn’t go. Arora is very knowledgeable and did a good job. Thumb up.
We decided to book this tour to help us navigate Jerusalem as newcomers. It turned out to be an incredible journey through the amazing history of the city, through knowledge but also trough a deep personal connection. We appreciated Avi’s deep understanding of the culture, the people and the history of this incredible place, and how he makes you actually understand among the complexity of it. Our group ended to be only 4 participants which made a very intimate cozy group. All questions were welcomed and despite the scorching heat, Avi was able to take us comfortably to all places.
