Ecco la tua occasione per scoprire il meglio di Madeira. Abbiamo iniziato visitando il punto panoramico di Cabo Girão, uno dei punti panoramici più alti d'Europa. Continuiamo il nostro viaggio lungo i sentieri rurali di Lugar de Baixo, lungo le tradizionali strade agricole che ci portano fuoristrada attraverso la foresta Laurissilva fino all'altopiano Paul da Serra. Facciamo una breve sosta in un bar locale dove sfoggiamo il nostro tradizionale Poncha (facoltativo). Proseguiamo per Fanal, dove ci fermiamo ad osservare il suo parco naturale, dove possiamo trovare alberi secolari, la sua fauna e flora. Proseguendo il nostro tour ci dirigeremo a Porto Moniz, dove faremo una pausa per provare la cucina locale (pranzo), e approfitteremo delle piscine naturali per un breve bagno (facoltativo). Abbiamo ripreso il tour, passando per luoghi come Ribeira da Janela, Ribeira Funda, Seixal, luoghi con molta cultura di Madeira, spiagge naturali, cascate, ecc. Concludiamo il nostro viaggio tornando a Funchal.

Il nostro viaggio su questo lato dell'isola passa attraverso luoghi mitici come il miraggio del Cabo Girão, uno dei miraggi più famosi d'Europa con un'altezza di 589 metri.
Abbiamo osservato i percorsi tipici del Madeira, i percorsi tipici dei frutti tropicali come la banana, la papaia, il mango, ecc...
Fermata per PONCHA, caffè, bagno, ecc...
Andiamo in fuoristrada nel bosco di alloro con panorami incredibili, possibili solo con i nostri veicoli 4×4.
Successivamente iniziamo la nostra salita verso le montagne, dove ci fermiamo al Fanal per osservare la sua foresta, dove potrete stupirvi, divertirvi, passeggiare o rilassarvi semplicemente osservando i suoi alberi secolari, la sua flora e fauna.
Qui ci fermiamo per il pranzo in un ristorante locale. Se lo desideri potrai fare un tuffo nelle piscine naturali per un'esperienza unica.
Passeggiate per vedere il famoso fiume della finestra e le sue isole di fronte al mare del nord.
Fermata sulla spiaggia di sabbia nera del Seixal.
Passaggio per la città di San Vicente, occasione per osservare le cascate, gustare il rum e la biodiversità e le strade del nord.

Last minute trip but an amazing Fantastic fun day out experiencing everything Madeira has to offer 🥳🎉🕺
Great day out. Picked up and dropped off from the hotel. Friendly knowledgeable guide. The off road bits are not scary no horrible cliff edges. Nice balance with time not being rushed from point to point. 2 hours in porto moniz for lunch and swimming in the lava pools. You get a flavour of life on the west side of the island.
From start to finish our guide and driver Francisco was excellent (definitely deserves a bonus!). Very knowledgable, considerate, and an incredible driver given some of the roads are a bit hairy! All our stops were well thought out and gave us good time to explore and enjoy. Nothing was too much trouble. We rallied with two other jeeps from the same company for the journey and they were good fun too! Excellent company on the ride, and it was just a fantastic experience and opportunity to see the west of the island. *they also offer to book a buffet in Porto Moniz for you. It’s €21 and directly opposite the volcanic rock pools. I’d say it was worth it for taste, time, and getting in the sea quicker! Definitely recommend sturdy shoes, a coat, and swimwear for this trip. You’ll go through a plethora of weather and terrain but it all adds to the fun. Very grateful for a wonderful day out!
Abandoned us on the other side of the island. Was 1.5 hours late to pick us up. Unfortunately this company can not be trusted. Cost us €125 for a return taxi from where they abandoned us.
Fun and informative day out. Can be a bit windy and chilly at the Fanal Forest so a jacket is a good idea.
We enjoyed seeing such varied landscapes from beach to mountains on this tour! If you suffer from motion sickness, take medication ahead of time as climbing the mountain can be hard even inside the Jeep. Up the mountain can be cooler so bring layers and bring money for your stops not included, snacks, lunch and souvenirs.
Absolutely amazing experience! The Jeep Safari 4x4 West Madeira tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day fun and relaxed. The off-road sections were exciting without ever feeling unsafe, and the views at Porto Moniz, Fanal, and Cabo Girão were breathtaking. We loved the mix of adventure, nature, and local insights.
