Peace and quite jambiani. Really nice beach so peaceful in the mornings during the day there is the odd seller trying to push tours but nothing like stone town and Nungwi so many bars and restaurants with direct beach access. If you visit any where in zanzibar put jambiani on the list
I had booked a tour of Jambiani with Ameir from home. It was exciting to see the village and learn about the culture, women's work, etc. Ameir is a good guide who knows the city. We stayed a few days in Jambiani and it was nice with an introduction to the city. It is recommended to take the tour one of the first days you live in the city.
Cheerleader Mela is a nice person relates to customers makes one relax have fun spend a happy stay and want to have another visit to the hotel
The best cultural experience I had in Zanzibar. Our guide is very competent and close the local community which make the whole experience authentic.
Overall this is a nice experience. During the tour, the guide will take you to multiple different craftswomen who make different pieces of amazing handicraft. Also, you will get to see the locals life, their homes, and learn about their culture and way of living. For me, it was an amazing experience and I can certainly recommend it to anyone. I take away one start because on the day of booking, when I contacted the guide/company 20 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, the guide was surprised and it seemed like they forgot about my booking. Nevertheless, the tour went on as planned without any complications.
It really appreciated the tour!!! ☺️ Amir is an excellent guide, polite and funny, and he explained all the traditional women works in Jambiani. It’s an amazing immersion on the Zanzibar culture. Thank you so much, Amir. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
A lot of respect and humility in front of the work done by all these women who are gaining independence thanks to what they cultivate. The seaweed fields they grow and are they take care of at low tide. Physical and strenuous work. Beauty products are then sold and they are paid for in this way
Great experience , we have learnt a lot about the village coulure, we tasted local tea and participated in various activities. Our guide told us a lot of interesting information we highly recommend!
We took a number of tourist-y type tours while in Zanzibar. We thought it was important to also find something that got us a glimpse of what it was like to live there so we picked this tour. For us, this tour got us everything we wanted. It got us a hands on experience about how people in Zanzibar have been living and creating products and shelter out of what you can find naturally on the island. We got a look at people's homes and places where they create. Ameir was an awesome host, even offering pickup services for a small extra fee which was appreciated. He was there to pick us up in person. This was a very worthwhile experience and got us a look at something more intimate than going to a spice farm or watching dolphins. Very valuable.
Very nice short tour of Jambiani. We were allowed to help the women work. Amir told us a lot about life there and the history of the island. I highly recommend it if you liked to see how people live there.
