È reso famoso dal suo castello, ma anche dalle bellissime cascate. Jajce è una delle città più importanti del regno bosniaco. È una delle poche città al mondo ad avere una cascata all'interno della città circondata da una natura meravigliosa, lago vicino e mulini.
Travnik è una città e centro amministrativo del comune della Bosnia centrale. Storicamente, fu la capitale dei governatori della Bosnia dal 1699 al 1850 e ha un patrimonio culturale risalente al periodo ottomano.
Travnik è il luogo di nascita del vincitore del premio Nobel, Ivo Andrić e la sua casa è conservata come museo. Il turismo di Travnik è basato sulla storia e la geografia. La vicina montagna Vlašić è una delle vette più alte della Bosnia ed Erzegovina ed è un luogo eccellente per lo sci, l'escursionismo e lo slittino.

Following an excellent free guided tour around the city with Spirit we decided to book this trip with them. We were not disappointed. We ended up with just the two of us and Emir our guide who was amiable and knowledgeable. He was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. The trip was amazing. We loved Travnik and the Mosque and Fortress . He clearly knew a lot about the history and was very interesting. It was extremely scenic and a highlight was the beautiful Pliva Lakes and the Water Mills. We loved Jayce and got to see the Catacombs and the trip was topped off by the beautiful waterfalls just outside the city. It was a fabulous day full of beauty and culture and we felt very spoiled to have the tour to ourselves. He even stopped off at the side of the road to allow us to take photos and picked us apples from a tree. Thank you Spirit Tours and Emir it was a truly memorable day!

When our original day tour was cancelled by a different company, we reached out to Spirit Tours instead. I’m glad we did, because we had a great time and got to see places we otherwise wouldn’t have gone to on our own. Our guide allowed us time on our own at each stop to take in the sights. It was very laid back, which was nice. This was a great tour, but be warned that it’s very long (due to distance) and there is a lot of time spent in the car.
