MJ was the perfect guide and Naveem was the perfect driver who was always on time or early. MJ took the time to explain all the history and relevant details of each site, and also answered any questions raised. He also took great photos - one thing I noticed after the tour though was that portrait mode was often used, which I dont think should be used when there is the Hawa Mahal in the background haha. Also, as with any Indian tour guides, any mention of wanting to buy local stuff will get them to lead you a shop they are connected to. I only wanted to buy some jewellery and thankfully MJ did not push for me to go anywhere else. But beware that the jeweller does overcharge, something I found out because I could find better value in shops in my hotel in Delhi. Not a huge overcharge but still, I did regret a little buying there as many Delhi shops had better designs and quality of gems.
I had an okay time. The guide was receptive to what I wanted to do, but not extremely knowledgeable. It was nice to hit most of the spots I felt like I should see in Jaipur. Solo tour was a little awkward- would recommend going with someone. I ended up getting sick the next day, so be careful what you eat.

Solo day in Jaipur with Ronnie as a guide and an excellent driver. Ronnie knows the history of the city perfectly and showed us around the Amber Fort, the City Palace, and the Hawa Mahal with passion. The driver was punctual and very professional despite the traffic. I felt safe and well accompanied the whole way. I highly recommend!

We did the tour with Avid and the experience was perfect. We loved his way of explaining each place, always in a clear, pleasant, and very interesting way. We had an amazing day with Rohit & Shakir. Rohit is a very knowledgeable guide and bought everything to life with the stories behind the palaces and temples. As well as getting around the highlights of Jaipur we were taken for a really tasty, affordable lunch. My wife has asked about the possibility of buying some block print fabrics and art and Rohit took us to some amazing outlets where we were able to have a go at block printing and see some beautiful examples. Throughout the day we were looked after and kept very comfortable by Rohit but also by our driver Shakir who was not only a very good calm driver but also had lots of knowledge to impart. I can’t rate this day highly enough.
