We spent a wonderful day with Sini, diving into history and visiting beautiful places in the heart of Istria. We chose a private tour to Motovun, Grožnjan, and Pazin. We were picked up right on time from our apartment in Pula in a comfortable van. On the way to Grožnjan, we stopped at a viewpoint overlooking the Leme Canal, known as the Lim Fjord. Beautiful views. During the trip, Sini treated us to a wealth of interesting facts about the places we passed, as well as the history of the entire Istria region. Grožnjan charmed us with its artistic atmosphere. It is well worth stopping and soaking in the soul of this town at a leisurely pace. Definitely unlike any other. Next was Motovun, featuring stunning views from the town walls, an olive oil and truffle tasting, and a fantastic lunch. I will just say that every place Sini recommended, I had checked beforehand and they were already on my wishlist. I won't list them here—just trust Sini, and you certainly won't be disappointed 😊 Finally, a short stop in Pazin—the Citadel, the castle, and the magnificent view of the Pazin Cave (Pazinska Jama). The return trip to Pula was smooth and peaceful, which just goes to show that besides being a great guide, Sini is also an excellent driver. To sum up, I warmly recommend any of the tours offered by Sini. Extensive historical knowledge combined with local hospitality guarantees a successful day 😊
Great tour, fun filled and superb day. Our guide spoke superb English, very knowledgeable and accomodating. HIGHLY recommended!
A great, knowledgeable tour guide who accompanies the group in a very relaxed and friendly manner. Beautiful, selected locations and views that make the tour a well-coordinated overall experience from start to finish. Fine, small delicacies that await the guests along the way (costs for café/restaurant visits are NOT included, only small samples of truffle and olive oil specialties). This is vacation!
Outstanding experience in Istria! We loved seeing all the sights and small villages and towns. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed the truffle and olive oil tasting, a perfect day out!
This was a great trip. Our guide was really knowledgeable and attentive. Confirmation of pick up place and time was done the night before to allow for late bookings. The stops were beautiful and really interesting, with small tastings of oil and truffles and some lovely fortified wine en route. The artists town was gorgeous and we had time to explore. The city walls walk offered great views, and our lunch recommendation was amazing. Never felt rushed. Lots to see!
This was a good days outing, much to see and Sini was very knowledgable. Comfortable ride with 2 other couples with various stops along the way. We did stop to try some truffle products which were pastes on small cubes of bread. Had opportunities to stop for coffee, lunch or a little shopping. Visited some lovely locations, great photo opportunities !
Exploring the Istrian interior is an absolute must-do if you are staying on the coast. The landscape is breathtaking, and the hill towns and art colonies are packed with charm. Make sure to bring extra room in your luggage! It is the perfect opportunity to pick up unique local crafts and world-class olive oil. Believe me, you won't want to go home empty-handed.
Sweet, funny guide. Beautiful medieval towns. Had a wonderful time. Got the chance to meet an important artist Marko Brojkovic, and have a look around his awesome studio.
Great guide and beautiful locations. A great day trip away from the coast and engaged in Istria more rustic heritage.
Wonderful experience. Sini took us through Istria showing us some really spectacular views. The visits to Groznjan and Motovun were a great way of learning some local history and culture and very beautiful to walk around. Tasting the local truffle produce in Motovun was a lot of fun. Sini was a very friendly, organised and knowledgeable host who did a fantastic job and really made the experience. This experience was definitely one of the most fun experiences we had during our holiday in Rovinj.
