Isole Ballestas e Riserva Nazionale di Paracas da Ica

The guide insisted that we have lunch in one of the only 2 restaurants in Lagunillas inside the Paracas Nature park, saying that the other will scam us. So we did. A couple of days later i started feeling sick, one of the days i almost couldn't walk and ended up going to the hospital the third day. I was infected with salmonela and amebiasis. I had to stay in the hospital for a whole day and i needed to take 8 pills a day for the following week. I send a message to the guide so that he would reconsider his recommendation for the next tours but he didn't believe me and was doubting that i was really sick, saying that the other tour participants on that day had no problems. I had to send the medical documents to him and even then i am not sure if he will change something, probably not, i guess the guides have some economical interest on it.

Really nice one day tours, feels like we see all we wanna see of Paracas. With free degustation, visit of a small traditional weaving mill and jewerly fabric. Really nice guide.

Great day, Kate. The boat tour is very interesting, we saw seals, sea lions, lots of birds and penguins (from afar). Nothing better than seeing animals in their natural environments. The beaches visited were also very nice. The guide is very nice and funny. The tour is speed. It's worth it!

The tour was very interesting. The Ballestas Island was absolutely incredible — we saw a dolphin, seals, sea lions, penguins, pelicans, and other fascinating birds. The national park is very beautiful, with an amazing combination of yellow landscapes and blue sea. I wish the bus had been better. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the bus itself wasn’t very clean.

Spectacular tour!!! The Ballestas Islands, located near Paracas, Peru, are a coastal natural sanctuary famous for its high biodiversity, housing thousands of sea lions, humboldt penguins and guaneras. Known as "mini Galápagos", these protected volcanic islands offer a must-see boat tours for wildlife observation in their natural habitat. Do not fail to take the walk, as it is very top and you will appreciate spectacular landscapes.

It was a lot of fun and you learn a lot about marine life

The islands are great. This is NOT a Spanish/English tour. It’s entirely in Spanish with maybe 1 sentience in English for full 10+ sentences in Spanish. The return is extremely unorganized. As mentioned by other reviewers, we picked up random people on the way back. The tour also stops at random places in Ica. Our guide got out for 10 or so minutes flagging a taxi for a couple because they wouldn’t return to their hotel. Six people got dropped off and told to walk back to their Airbnb, including a family with a young child. Also important to note the transportation is NOT air conditioned and gets ridiculously hot.

Beautiful, it wasn't 30 years ago and now the boats are bigger and faster. Well the tour, just a little congested. I do remember you used to see more animals, but it may be due to the season. The Boat Enterprise service was very good. Excellent option to go with children.

Amazing guide Luis! Lots of information and facts about Paracas. Fun boat trip where we saw a lot of different sea animals! The national reserve was also very beautiful!
