While the drive from Pacific Harbour to Denarau is relatively long, it's such a great way to see what Fiji really looks like. From the lush rain forest of the south, through the hills and into the drier flatlands full of sugarcane. You can certainly get back to Denarau or Nadi faster by air, but you'll miss seeing the countyside, beaches and reef, villages, and people, and osn't that what travel os all about? Our driver, Muddy, was very informative and responsive to our requests on where and when to stop along the way. Otherwise, a safe and pleasant drive. Everything ran on time and was as comfortable as sitting in a car for 3 hours can be. Highly recommended!

Dev was great!! He was very protective of my husband and I. He felt like family. When we return, we will request Dev every time. ElShaad was great too but we didn’t get him back and got Dev instead. They both were great people.

On time, clean, polite. Great conversation, wifi, safe. Gave great local suggestions and options for further exploration in Denarau. Highly recommend.

Nothing wrong with the driver. Just the drive of nearly 2 hours was way too long for this captain cook dinner cruise from the hideaway resort.
