The trip was very good, the guide Teddy was excellent, but it was very bad that they told us the pickup point was our Hotel Lancelot, and when we asked the operator for confirmation, it was at the Fairgrounds an hour earlier; that should not be done, especially to tourists. Taking notes!!!!!
Great experience. Especially loved seeing the Dolphins. The island is so picturesque and the information provided is sufficient to enable you plan how to best use the limited time. Staff were great and very helpful. Would have given 5 stars but the trip did not return to the Rubicón Marina as advertised on Tripadviser and we were informed of this so had two bus transfers.
Well where do I start forget the Dolphin watching. Going to Lobos Island it was quite windy and the wave weres quite high, but from leaving Lanzarote harbour the boat was flat out and bouncing about a lot. But unfortunately the return journey was horrendous, the crew knew that the wind had increased because they pulled the side covers down on one side and when we set off my wife who is not good on boats and a lot of other people on board were very frightened. I love boat and sailing I have been deep sea fishing all over and I have never experienced anything so bad from a safety point of view. The boat ( still flat out) was bouncing all over so much so a couple sat opposite their seats broke off with the severe bouncing, we were all soaking wet. Yes if we were going on an adrenaline junky speed boat ride fare enough but we had no chance of seeing any Dolphins or Whales. So if you are slightly anxious about boats this is definitely one to miss.
The boat trip was amazing words aren’t enough to explain how beautiful it was to see dolphins and flyfish then to swim in the natural pool was a dream come true. The only down side was the coach trip back it was horrendous the driver was rude ignoring us won’t explained anything then he eventually told us to get off the coach as we weren’t getting taken back to the hotel by him he was rude turned around and we didn’t listen and that we could walk or get a taxi it wasn’t his problem. After having such an amazing experience to then have this at the end we were disappointed as in the end we had to get a taxi back to our hotel that cost us €70
This trip was amazing, I would recommend. Lobos island is beautiful - the staff on the boat were so lovely, the main man (I think his name was Teddy?) he was such a lovely guy and really looked after everyone! Made sure everyone had what they needed etc. big shout out to him for making the trip so enjoyable! Lunch was good to they provided packed lunch for everyone. The boat journey there was fine it took about an hour or so - coming home though, it was so choppy (which isn’t the company’s fault) but there were some big waves coming back! We didn’t see any dolphins or whales but we see lots of flying fish which were cool!
The fact that I saw the dolphins right away is superpositive. They played with the boat, right out of the harbor. Lobos Island is pretty, worth a walk Brilliant soundtrack on return, to which I would add, for the little ones, the themes of the anime of One Piece
The tour was really nice, even that we was unfortunate to see any dolphins. Flying fishes was nice! Definitely worth to go, staff is really nice, Lobos is small but has really nice beaches. The only thing what caused a little issue that we only found one toilet and it was closed due water issue.
Overall a great experience! Had a good day and lots of time to explore the island. The packed lunch included was good, included 2 sandwiches, a beer, water and a yoghurt. The tour hosts were great and fun, made the trip more enjoyable and us all laugh. Didn’t see any dolphins, but still a nice trip. Although, 4/5 since we originally were booked for Friday- the organisers gave us the wrong pickup location meaning we missed the transfer bus, so had to reschedule for Saturday. Got a phone call 20 minutes after our expected pickup with a very angry lady asking where we were, after we’d already phoned the booking company since no bus had arrived to pick us up. Could’ve been better customer service and communication overall.
Lobos is lovely (particularly the lagoon beach overlooking Fuerteventura) but the boat journey out to the island wasn't great for us. It seemed to take forever (90 minutes) in a strong cold wind that constantly blew spray into the boat. The boat was advertised as being a 'speedboat', but you were left feeling you could swim there faster (and got equally wet). I couldn't understand much of what the commentary guy said, ceither. His English was excellent, but he gabbled and the sound system was poor. The 2 hours on the island were heaven and the (much faster) return boat trip in glorious sunshine was very pleasant, but the journey out was not easy to erase from the memory. Overall enjoyable, but not as good as the other boat trips we've been on in The Canaries. Take plenty of sun cream, your swimming costume and a towel. Sent from my Galaxy
On time and although we were in walking distance of the embarkation had several contacts offering pickup. The trip was good from start to finish. Although on the dolphin route, dolphins did not want to play on the day we went. The lunch provided was good. Highlight was the carpaccio soup and even a beer in there. The sun did not appear until we were about to leave the island so the sea colours were inhibited by the clouds. Worth the price and recommended.
