Intera giornata Hwange Day Trip

Mncedisi, "Big M," was our guide for the entire day at Hwange National Park, and we were lucky to have him. He was so full of fascinating information about the wildlife and their symbiotic relationships that it made the adventure even more compelling. The entire experience, from finding a leopard and watching it stalk a steenbok, to seeing the elephants gather at the watering holes with all the babies and juveniles, to witnessing zebra frolicking and more, was magical. It renewed our wonder at the glory of nature and the world in which we live. It was truly a life enhancing experience. Thank you, Big M, for giving us this unforgettable day. We also have to give a shout-out to Francis, our driver. He expertly managed the unforgiving roads with good cheer. He was also quite knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, which made the long drive from Victoria Falls and back much more enjoyable.

Nice day exploring Hwange with Ethan as my guide. There were many animals we spotted especially wildebeest, elephants and giraffes. Ethan was patient with our requests to stop and extra time to watch the animals like the elephants playing in the water at the watering hole. Lunch was a delicious home cooked meal served with water and soft drinks. Great day even with the longer drive to and from.

Obviously no bears or lions but this was an incredible experience for my first time safari! Our guides were so knowledgeable and kind. They also tried their best to find the lions for me (thank you Kuda & sadly I do not recall our other guide’s name but he was a walking encyclopedia), and even though I didn’t get to see them this was truly above and beyond service! We had such a great time going around the park and saw so many elephants!! It was truly such a magical experience. We also became such great friends with our awesome driver, Norman, who brought us from Vic Falls to Hwange. Such a smooth, great day!

Hwange was truly amazing. Our guides were so incredible and we learned so much from them! They also tried their absolute hardest to find the lions for me which was so kind and above and beyond service (Kuda and I forget the other guide, but he was like a walking encyclopedia). Then, our driver to the park, Norman, was so fantastic that we all became fast friends with him! Definitely book this tour, it was so worth it!!

Our driver from Vic Falls was on time and the Hwange guide was awesome. He was knowledgeable about the park and animals - it was a great day. We saw lions feeding, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and elephants. I would absolutely recommend!

I booked as a solo traveler and managed to join other people who were booked by Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours. Initially the entire trip was very interesting we saw quite a number of animals and the park is very huge. Our driver Francis from Victoria to hwang a very good driver, our guide very informative. I highly recommend booking with Zambezi Expedition.

A visit to Hwange is well worth the 2 1/2 hour trip to get there. In hind site I wish that we would have planned an overnight stay at the park because there is so much to see there and one day is not enough time. Our driver was punctual, kind and professional. And our safari park guide was very knowledgeable about the animals, birds, and plants that we encountered. He shared his bird book with us along the drive. We saw many herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, 6 different kinds of antelope, hippos, crocodiles, lizards and a pride of 10 lions. Seeing the lions 10 feet from our jeep was the highlight of our 3 week stay in Africa. I would highly recommend this company. Oh and the lunch that was prepared for us was wonderful.

This park is incredibly large and the guide did his best to find the animals! The check ins and water supply & lunch was most welcomed.

Excellent value Much cheaper than the hotel for impeccable service. We had the 4x4 all to ourselves as not many people go there from Victoria Falls and it was low season. Competent and friendly guide. We recommend 100% A big thank you to Chance who manages the registrations. She asked us if we had any food intolerances to plan lunch during the Safari. Hearty and good meal in a pleasant and secure area.
