C'erano centinaia di sebiljs (fontane pubbliche a forma di chiosco) a Sarajevo, ma oggi l'ultima si trova in piazza Baščaršija, dove funge da importante simbolo della città. La posizione intorno a Sebilj è anche chiamata "Piazza dei Piccioni" che funge da fantastico punto fotografico.
Kazandžiluk è una delle strade più antiche e riconoscibili di Sarajevo e faceva parte della molto più grande Kazandžijska Čaršija, che occupava le strade vicine, Luledžina e Oprkanj. Kazandžiluk prende il nome dai kazandžijas, maestri metalmeccanici e ramai che prima iniziarono a produrre bollitori per l'esercito e poi iniziarono a realizzare altri vasi e oggetti in rame per l'uso quotidiano (bicchieri, brocche, caffettiere, piani di tavoli in metallo, vassoi). Al culmine dell'"età dell'oro" della Sarajevo ottomana, i ramai producevano circa un centinaio di diversi tipi di oggetti.
L'edificio più rappresentativo del periodo austro-ungarico è stato completato nel 1896. Un famoso esempio di architettura neomoresca è ispirato all'arte islamica in Spagna e Nord Africa.

Il Bezistan di Gazi Husrev Bey (bazar coperto), chiamato anche Vecchio Bezistan e Grande Bezistan fa parte del vakuf (dotazione) di Gazi Husrev Bey. Si presume che la struttura sia stata edificata intorno al 1540.
Costruita nel XVI secolo, è la più grande moschea storica della Bosnia ed Erzegovina e una delle strutture ottomane più rappresentative dei Balcani. Essendo la moschea centrale di Sarajevo sin dai tempi della sua costruzione, oggi funge anche da principale moschea congregazionale dei musulmani in Bosnia ed Erzegovina.
Josip Vancaš, un architetto ungherese, ha tratto ispirazione per il progetto della cattedrale di Sarajevo dalla cattedrale di Notre Dame a Dijon, in Francia, e dalla cattedrale di St. Teyn a Praga. Grazie al grande talento di Vancaš, la cattedrale di Sarajevo ha finito per diventare un edificio completamente nuovo e autentico, e si adatta perfettamente anche all'ambiente circostante, con l'Hamam (bagno turco) di Gazi Husrev Bey sullo sfondo.
Il Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures è il luogo in cui l'Oriente incontra l'Occidente e un luogo da cui possiamo veramente vedere l'unicità di Sarajevo scattando due foto completamente diverse dallo stesso punto.

This was an excellent orientation to the history of Sarajevo as well as many of the must see (and photograph) sites of Old Town. Kenan was an enthusiastic guide for his birth city. This is a great opportunity for alone travel nomads to get professional photographs to share on their social profiles. It was my first time to do a photoshoot and it felt awkward at first but as we progressed we managed to complete the photoshoot with Hanna's assistance.

I had an amazing tour in this magical place. beside the great and top quality photos that I went back home with, the tour was very useful and full of interesting stories. the tour guide Hanna was super friendly and also full of knowledge about Sarajevo history and the architecture of the buildings. I did another tour with this agency, and they asked me if i was interested in this new tour of Sarajevo that they were offering. I thought, why not! Overall a great experience. I got some nice photos to post on my socials as well as to show my friends and family. The photographer/guide, Hana, was very friendly and told me some interesting stories about each of the places we took photos at. The photos came out great quality. Absolutely recommend this to anybody who would like to have good photos from their trip to Sarajevo, for any reason.
