We spent a day with Curt on a private Third Reich and Dachau tour, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. His knowledge, professionalism, and passion for history were evident throughout the day. What impressed us most was his ability to keep our 11- and 14-year-old engaged while discussing difficult and emotional topics with sensitivity and respect. I had a great time on Curt's "Inside the Third Reich" private Tour! Curt does a great job making the history of Munich come alive. He took me to many parts of Munich I hadn't seen before. By all means if you have the chance and are visiting Munich, sign up for one of Curt's excellent tours, you will be glad you did!!!
My husband and I were the only tourists, which is ideal. Curt was personable and easy to understand. We saw plenty of sites with Curt telling us amazing historical facts. He's done extensive research so he was well versed on Hitler's rise to power then impact WWII had on the city of Munich. He answered our questions fully. The tour was well worth the costs plus a bit more. Highly recommend.
Curt was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the third reich, and its members. From the start in Munich to the ending in Berlin, he gave the behind the scenes and little known facts from the key players to the general public and how it affected them. He caters the tour to your perspective and knowledge, showing the actual streets and buildings where it all happened. A definite 5 star experience!
We did the 3rd Reich your with Curt and it was the best!! We learned so much and enjoyed Curt’s little fun facts. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history and shared so much info with us. His pictures were exceptional as well. Great tour highly recommend!!
We had such a great day with Curt. He was kind, funny and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city and the third reich. His stories were engaging and we really enjoyed the tour and his company. Even though the weather was a bit miserable he worked hard to keep us warm and dry while still seeing everything. The time flew by and he even spent extra time with us to show us even more and give us tips for our onward travels. We highly recommend his private tours. The personal attention and customized itinerary is the best way to see the city.
Curt is the best guide we have ever had and we have travelled all over Europe. His ability to adjust his presentation to the level of knowledge of his group was amazing. My husband and I learned so much about not only Nazi Munich but the results after the war. Both Jim and I were surprised by much of the information Curt shared. Curt was very generous with his time, which went quickly on this broad but often detailed sweep through Nazi history in Munich. Curt moved the discussion from top-down themes to as much detail as I wanted. He weaved in historical research whilst adding his own perspective on the times and the individuals involved. All up a thought-provoking tour that enabled me to engage with the history books in a more personal way.
