Patong Beach è il vero cuore di Phuket, e ciò che la rende così attraente per molti. Patong è grande, audace, affollato, luminoso e rumoroso. Eppure milioni di persone affollano qui ogni anno come mosche sul miele. Se Bangkok è il Big Mango, allora Patong è il Big Durian: adorerai Patong!
Karon Viewpoint è uno dei punti panoramici più frequentati di Phuket. Da qui è possibile ammirare le spiagge di Kata Noi, Kata Yai e Karon. Il punto panoramico di Karon non è visitabile nel tour del tramonto pomeridiano. Situato tra le spiagge di Nai Harn e Kata Noi, il belvedere è affollato per la maggior parte dell'anno ed è un punto fermo di molti itinerari turistici. Chiamata localmente ‘Khao Saam Haad’ (Collina delle Tre Spiagge), la municipalità locale per qualche motivo l’ha ufficialmente ribattezzata ‘Punto panoramico di Karon’. Si trova appena a sud della spiaggia di Kata Noi e si affaccia direttamente sul Mare delle Andamane, ma la maggior parte delle persone ha le telecamere allenate verso nord, con l'innegabile vista di otto chilometri delle tre spiagge della costa occidentale sullo sfondo.
Tra i tanti templi che si trovano sull'isola di Phuket, il tempio Wat Chalong è il più grande e venerato. Il complesso del tempio fu costruito nella sua posizione attuale nel 1837. Sono stati trovati alcuni resti di strutture più antiche, tuttavia non si sa esattamente quanti anni abbiano. Il grande terreno di Wat Chalong che è ufficialmente chiamato Wat Chaitararam contiene un viharn, un mondop, un ubosot, un chedi contenente una reliquia segreta, una sala e un crematorio.

Se avete voglia di fare qualcosa per aiutare a finire l'ampia base del Buddha, è possibile sponsorizzare un pezzo di marmo bianco per 300 a 1.000 baht a seconda delle dimensioni.

A really great experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we were chauffeured around in a very comfortable air conditioned vehicle. They couldn’t do enough for us and ensured that we were comfortable and had enough time in each stop off.

Basically drove us around the southern part of island with a few stops. Guide seemed uninterested and was on her phone for the most part. Driver was very kind and tried hard to interact with us even given limited English. Not sure what the purpose of guide was

A good way to get an overview of Phuket if you are only here for a short time. As this was a private tour we were able to customize it which worked well for us.

It was very good. Our tour guide and driver were very professional and kind. The tour was four hours which was enough to stop and visit many places and we still had half of the day for us.

Great way to see most of the island of Phuket. Our guide, Phone , had an excellent command of the English language and was really knowledgeable. We were given 40 minutes of free time in the old town to shop. Had a great lunch there. Would certainly recommend taking this tour.
