What a wonderful way and unique way to spend 90 minutes in Edinburgh. Great fun and Alistair was a fantastic guide. Highly recommended
i did my tour in Edinburgh this weekend (june'26) with Sam and what an amazing experience! Couldn't recommend more! Besides being a super fan of Harry Potter magic world, Sam is super engaging, funny and he even taught us some magic during the tour.
We had a wonderful guided walk with Sam, he was very engaging and entertaining. It’s not a long walk so suitable for all ages. Great experience for all Harry Potter fans and Muggles alike.
We had an amazing time on the Harry Potter tour! Our guide Charlie was absolutely incredible — energetic, funny, and full of great stories. He made the whole experience so much fun and we enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend!
Charlie was an incredible guide! As a second grade teacher, I began reading the first book to my class once it hit the States (1998) each year. Charlie gave so much interesting history and information into the story, and also that of Rowling’s writing of it. We loved the graveyard part of the tour. Animated and funny, Charlie made the tour one I highly recommend! I’m sure all his fellow guides at Potter Trail are just as wonderful.
Our host, Charlie, was fantastic! I’d give it 8 stars if that were possible. The most entertaining 90 minutes of our trip! Gave him a good tip, which was very much earned.
My children thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Charlie our guide made it fun and had us all engaged. Highly recommend it !!
Loved the tour! Bring your wand!!!! Learn a cool new spell and some facts I would not have known as a Harry Potter fan. Don't be intimidated by the walking it was not that bad! Our guide was very knowledgeable!
Surprisingly I was able to get a reservation for this FREE tour the same day. We arrived on time to the meeting place. Our guide Ellison was excellent. He took the time to brief everyone on how the tour should go and what to expect. We took of right at the scheduled time. As we changed stations he would wait until the last person of the group arrived so he could start again. It’s impressive to see the knowledge this guide has about the story of the books and the writer. I recommend this tour for all Harry Potters fans. Ellison was awesome.
