Conosceremo le principali località turistiche, a cominciare dall'antica cosiddetta "Città Vecchia" oggi anche centro finanziario, iniziamo con uno degli edifici più rappresentativi e sede del Banco Republica e a pochi metri dalla Chiesa di San Francisco de Asis; Continuiamo verso Plaza Zabala con il suo Palacio Taranco, oggi Museo delle Arti Decorative; percorriamo la strada d'angolo che ha le sponde principali; Palazzo della Borsa; Edificio Artigas che raggiunge la Plaza Matriz; vedremo dal Monumento Storico Nazionale di Plaza El Cabildo; la Cattedrale Madre. Plaza Independencia, 18 luglio, Palazzo Legislativo, Mercato Agricolo, Monumento a La Carreta, Stadio Centenario, Word Montevideo a KIBON, quartiere Carrasco.

La costruzione di Plaza Independencia nello spazio occupato dall'antica Cittadella fu un'idea realizzata dall'architetto Carlo Zucchi nel 1837, quando si decise di ampliare l'antica città coloniale, come parte di un piano urbanistico generale. Riporteremo perché sono ornate con 33 palme, in omaggio ai Trentatré Orientali che parteciparono alla Crociata di Liberazione. Dalla Plaza possiamo apprezzare il Palacio Salvo, il Teatro Solis, la Torre Esecutiva, il Palazzo Estevez e l'antica Puerta de la Ciudadela.
Il Palazzo Legislativo è la sede del Potere Legislativo dell'Uruguay. Vi opera l'Assemblea Generale, che è composta da due camere che si riuniscono separatamente o congiuntamente a seconda delle circostanze: la Camera dei Deputati e la Camera dei Senatori.La costruzione dell'opera fu affidata all'architetto italiano Gaetano Moretti, che contò sulla collaborazione dell'architetto uruguaiano Eugenio Baroffio.
Il Mercado Agrícola de Montevideo è uno dei più grandi mercati agricoli di Montevideo. Nel 2006 il Mercato Agricolo è divenuto proprietà del Comune di Montevideo e si è iniziato a pianificare la sua ricostruzione, progetto che è stato accompagnato da un processo di rivitalizzazione dell'intera area circostante. Promuovendo anche un recupero urbano e il ripopolamento del quartiere.
L'opera si ispira ai gauchos, alla vita rurale e all'antico trasporto merci prima dell'arrivo dell'automobile e della ferrovia.
Il Centennial Stadium è uno stadio di calcio tra quelli che hanno ospitato i Mondiali. Primo stadio della Coppa del Mondo.

Il quartiere divenne la zona residenziale più lussuosa della città, dove vive in gran parte la classe alta della città. Nel nord Pierre Durandeau piantò migliaia di alberi e sviluppò l'attuale Rivera Park. Carrasco si diffuse nell'esclusiva zona di Miramar, dove operava un grande albergo che ora divenne la Scuola Navale, e a nord in quartieri popolari e industriali come Carrasco Norte e Paso Carrasco. La Rambla de Montevideo trova a Carrasco una delle sue manifestazioni di maggior successo dal punto di vista paesaggistico. Spiaggia di Carrasco, ripresa aerea, Montevideo, Uruguay L'Hotel Carrasco è stato rinnovato ed è gestito dalla catena alberghiera francese Sofitel.
Al termine del tour presso il Sofitel Montevideo Carrasco, i passeggeri possono scegliere di tornare in hotel o di fermarsi al Mercado del Puerto (ritorno per conto proprio).

The chief problem with the tour was that we were staying in the first hotel among the Pickup points, so we traveled in two different buses for an hour and a half to more than a dozen hotels across the city before the tour even began. The least the tour company could do is alert you to the fact that half of the tour will be sitting on a bus and picking up other passengers. The tour itself was just OK. The tour guide spoke in English, Spanish, and Portuguese alternately rather than speaking in English, which was our expectation having checked English when requesting the tour language. The tour didn’t cost very much, and we didn’t get very much.
Hello, you purchased a REGULAR tour, which means it operates with more people and guests staying in different hotels. I believe that, given your location, it would be best to purchase a PRIVATE tour. Your hotel is 22 km from the tour starting point, and our company will pick you up at your hotel to meet you for the tour and avoid delays in getting there with the tour vehicle. Otherwise, it would take us almost two hours to begin. The itinerary you booked clearly indicates that the tour is REGULAR.

Despite the really bad weather this was a very good and concise city tour of Montevideo. Our guide gave a lot of information and spoke perfect English. If you just want to see the main sights of the city in a few hours i recommend this tour.

This was a good introduction to the city and gave us many ideas of what else we could explore. It was a bit of extra bus time, but still enjoyable.
The tour is 3 hours, gives us a panoramic view of the city, Carmem a very nice people and Marcelo the driver too.

This is a bus tour in multiple languages together. I believe there are 6 stops. It is useful on the first day of a visit to Montevideo to see some noteworthy buildings and plazas. However, the guide only provided info while in the bus and everything had to be said 3 times, so the information was a but limited. It would have been better if the speaking was also done outside and went beyond basic facts about each place. I would have preferred a walking tour of the old city.
