Il Parco Nazionale dei Laghi di Plitvice è un particolare fenomeno carsico geologico e idrogeologico. Il Complesso dei Laghi di Plitvice fu proclamato parco nazionale l'8 aprile 1949. È il parco nazionale croato più grande, più antico e visitato. Rappresenta un'area montuosa boscosa con 16 laghi di diverse dimensioni, riempiti con acqua blu cristallina. I laghi traggono acqua da numerosi torrenti e corsi d'acqua e sono interconnessi da cascate e cascate. Barriere di seduta, avvenute in un periodo di diecimila anni.

I laghi di Plitvice sono il parco nazionale più antico e più grande della Repubblica di Croazia. Very smooth experience, due to his excellent communication prior, and detailed explanation to make sure we knew where to walk and suitably prepared. Also great that he checked how we were going on our hike and making sure we were going the right direction. Very polite and professional. We had an amazing time and the national park was stunning! William picked us up right in front of the cruise port on time (early even) in a nice air conditioned car. He took us to the Plitvice Lakes and once arrived he explained what paths to take and approximate time it would take. He was then waiting for us as soon as we were ready to head back out. Overall, good conversation and good experience!
