In questo tour sarai accompagnato da uno storico con una profonda passione e conoscenza del Galles. Lasciati stupire dalla deliziosa cittadina di Tenby. Un tempo porto medievale circondato da mura di un castello, è oggi una delle destinazioni turistiche preferite del Galles. Goditi un pasto in numerosi ristoranti o semplicemente fai una passeggiata sul lato del porto. Tenby ha due bellissime spiagge con acqua cristallina.
Questo era il santuario del famoso poeta Dylan Thomas. Fu in questo villaggio che scrisse alcune delle sue opere più famose tra cui "Under Milk Wood". A Laugharne ci si può fermare nel pub locale di Dylan per una pinta, visitare la sua casa di barca e la tettoia di scrittura o godersi la vista dell'estuario con il Castello Normanno in primo piano.

We toured South Wales with Gareth. The ride was very comfortable and safe. He is native to Wales and has a vast knowledge of Welsh history. He also provides a personal perspective so that you learn about the nuances of the culture and language. We enjoyed all the stops and had plenty of time to look around. Thank you!

The tour of Pembroke, Tenby and Laugharne was excellent. Gareth is extremely knowledgeable about Welsh history, language and culture. He gave us tips at every stop on the best routes to make the most of our time. It was a great day.
I had to cancel my Welsh Valleys Tour with Tours of Wales due to a serious medical issue that forced me to cancel my entire planned trip to the UK. Did not disappoint! Our guide was thoroughly knowledgeable about Welsh history and language. Very affable. Plenty of time to see the sites and have free time as well. Will book another tour with him next time we’re in Cardiff!

We saw some amazing towns and learned so much about the area from our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and interesting. It was a great option after a late night, because I slept the 2 hours on the way to the first stop. You will go to the beach, so if it’s a sunny day bring a beach towel to enjoy the beautiful view. We loved the town of Tenby and the home of Dylan Thomas.
